It has been disappointing from day one though! like I said my first new car, so I decide to just transfer the plates! Well they didn't do this at the point of sale, I just assumed they would remove them and send them to me or something. So a week or 2 goes by and I get curious and call about them! long story short, they forgot to take them off and sold the with my 2000 vw golf gls, and tell me they are going to try and get them back! a week later they decide to order me new ones! which they should have just done in the first place! which after driving around for months with Kendall plates mine finally come, but to the Toyota dealership???? and somehow they seemed to make me feel like this was my fault? Next experience, I get my tax returns and decide to get mud flaps, everything goes well, but recently there was a recall on the micro switch in shift, so I call to make my appointment! after I schedule my appointment they call me back and are like oh after looking at our records we see there was a mistake and you still owe us some money for the mud flaps! This is ridiculous, I call to get a repair for paid for recall and they dig through there mistakes and try to charge me for something I already thought I paid for! on top of it around Christmas, like come on they should have just given me the mud flaps in the first place, with roof racks, which I probably wont be getting from there anymore! Disappointing! More
Terrible Customer Service I got a call from their services department a few days after they completed an electrical repair on my car. They told me that additional parts had co I got a call from their services department a few days after they completed an electrical repair on my car. They told me that additional parts had come in that they needed to install to complete the job. They made no mention to me when I picked up my car the first time that the job was incomplete, and they didn't know there were parts uninstalled until they arrived in the mail (red flag 1). I left my car with them for the day, and asked for a pickup at 5:30PM that evening, which they agreed to. The called me at 4PM to confirm the 5:30 pickup, which I appreciated. Between 5:30 and 5:55 (when I was actually picked up) I had to call twice to inquire about my ride (as I'm standing on the street in 27 degree weather). They tell me he'll be there soon, but offer no concern for the delay that it's caused and are not proactive with me in communicating the delay (red flag 2). I get in the car and the driver has no idea how to get back to the dealership. He drives 10 minutes out of his way until I stop him and tell him to follow my instructions to get to his dealership (red flag 3). What should have been completed in 10 minutes took 50 minutes of my time. In return, they told me they'd give me 15% off my next service (red flag 4). Why would I ever return to their overpriced service department after such a terrible experience? Don't try and offer someone an apology by forcing them to spend more money with you to get the benefit. Take your money elsewhere if you'd like to be treated with respect. More

Easiest car purchase ever My wife and saw a car we wanted on their website. We then went in and was greeted by a “no pressure” salesman Trevor who asked us several questions to My wife and saw a car we wanted on their website. We then went in and was greeted by a “no pressure” salesman Trevor who asked us several questions to see if the car we were looking at was really what are needs were. He was very informative. Trevor then let us test drive the vehicle with out him for a few hours to see if it was really to our liking. We were already preapproved through our credit union and the purchase was a breeze. The dealership has also followed up after the sale to see if there is anything we need and how the car was doing for us. In short, I’d go back to purchase a car again. More

Service Center A+ My key had broken off in my ignition with the car on auxiliary, so I ended up with a broken key and a dead battery. Called Kendall Volkswagen of Bend My key had broken off in my ignition with the car on auxiliary, so I ended up with a broken key and a dead battery. Called Kendall Volkswagen of Bend on a Sunday and left a message, the customer service line representative assured me that they would call me back at 7 am when someone would be there to hear my voicemail. They did call me, promptly at about 7:30 am (they open for business at 8 am) I was asleep but she returned my message. I called back and the woman on the phone at the appointment center was absolutely wonderful, super kind and super helpful. She got me the next available appointment and allowed me to have my car towed there a day in advance since my appointment was first thing in the morning. Since my car was there over night and my battery died with my windows down, the mechanics pushed my car into the work bay to assure me it would be safe. The men in the service center have been working with me amazingly. They call me every few hours to update me on progress, they listen to my concerns, answer my questions honestly and have been helpful when I've asked how I can save some money. They even had their shuttle driver drive all the way to my house to pick up my broken key fob so I didn't have to find a ride and he arrived within 5 minutes of calling. It depends on who you're dealing with and who's working on your vehicle I suppose, but the men down in the service center have been helping me night and day to get my car up and running as soon as possible. More

I realize warranty work doesn’t pay as well as private pay. I get that. As far as “Re-Inspect” of the vehicle. This would not be accurate, for it never made it in the shop past the know-it-all service advisor who expertly diagnoses vehicles through the telephone and argues with the client and informed me that since I have aftermarket tires and wheels on the vehicle, the vehicle is no longer covered under warranty and that they are not going to schedule the car "just to waste time". Finally, after several attempts to contact the service manager, where I was put on hold and ignored (15-45 minutes), I finally contacted Volkswagen directly. VW has opened a case and is trying to take care of me as an owner. More

My car was towed to this dealership that evening and I got a call first thing in the morning from Bret, the repair manager. From the very start, he was empathetic and kept in touch with regular updates. Daniel, another employee, drove us wherever we wanted to go in Bend. When my part didn't arrive, Bret even took it on himself to arrange a loaner car for me to get back home to Ashland if I needed it. From start to finish I was treated with kindness and they did everything they could to make the experience of breaking down. far from home a little more bearable. Great people-skills all around. No one works in parts If you call the phone number for parts you get a operator that shuffles you around. If your lucky enough to get the parts department you get to leave a message. Don't sit around expecting someone to call you back because they wont. We made eleven phone attempts on several occasions and never received any call backs. We spoke to the GM (Derek) twice who assured us the problem would be taken care of and it wasn't. Why would you even consider buying a car from a dealership that cant even answer a simple phone call ? More
