John Berglund was incredibly helpful in finding the right car for our needs. He was knowledgeable and patient and made the buying experience enjoyable. We met John Bergland on the Kendall lot to test drive an Impreza. Even tho' Kendall didn't have the model we wanted there was one that was the color we had to have. During a very long test drive with John, we learned everything we needed to know about the Impreza, simply and without pressure of any type. And the car we hadn't considered buying because it "had to many features" became ours the next day. Last year, the purchase of our 2011 Chevy Cruse Eco dream car was a disaster and the wrong car for us basically because of the lack of knowledge of the salesmen at a local dealership. It was certainly worth it to drive 150 miles to Kendall to receive the excellent information on the Subrau, and all without pressure. Everyone was friendly and helpful, altho' we were disappointed with the trade in price, we felt it was much to low according to Kelly Blue Book. All in all it was a good experience and we will definately refer anyone interested to John Bergland at Kendall. We love our Subaru Sport Limited. More
I can hardly believe buying this Legacy Wagon from Kendal Subaru was as a fantastic experience as it was. Got us an Unbelievable price on our trade in… (more than I asked for… can you believe it) and I drove out an hour later. I mean how does that happen? It was one of the most satisfying experiences, and they are SOOOO helpful and nice! I LOVE Jacob, he was the BEST! I can’t say enough good things about this business. I’ve always bought Honda’s, but with this experience, I can tell you… Kendal Subaru from now on! Thanks again Jacob!! More
i began my quest for a new car about a year ago... i wanted to find "the" car... i bought the wrong one...... so off i went again, from dealer to dealer where high pressured sales people approached, sur wanted to find "the" car... i bought the wrong one...... so off i went again, from dealer to dealer where high pressured sales people approached, surrounded, snubbed, showed desperation, etc.. from the moment i pulled onto the lot i was treated with respect. jacob, john, and stacey were pleasant, personable and honest. perhaps i should say, they are what i expect from eugene, or. not, what i found at other dealerships.. no pressure, no rush, plenty of laughter, very patient.... if/when i auto shop again... i will begin with you, kendall suburu. Bought an avalon recently. Not a good buy. The front two tyres good in the center but flat on the sides and unevenly worn out. According to Costso I have to replace them soon. Brakes.. We atarted our deal through the online negotitaions which we have done once before. Our last car deal went well. We feel that the trade in value on our car was low. We traded in a 2003 Beetle with only 61,00 we have done once before. Our last car deal went well. We feel that the trade in value on our car was low. We traded in a 2003 Beetle with only 61,000 miles on it. They gave us $5500 and it is now on the lot for sale for $10999. As the sales manager was extremely nice the finance dept was another story. I felt as if she could have cared less to make eye contact and when we have signed paperwork in the past it has taken twice as long. My husband was unable to be there as we live out of town so they were nice enough to drive the paperwork to us. Unfortunately the day and time they said they would be there came and went. I had to call the dealership to find out what happened. They apologized and set a time for the next day while my husband was at work. Again they were two hours late and my husband had to leave a meeting to finish the paperwork. Since the deal has been done we were actually able to find a cheaper interest rate through a different lending institution at 4% cheaper. We love our car but this is a huge reason why I cannot stand dealerships. Kendall is such a huge dealership I guess I just expected a little better service. More
The best thing about the experience was the lack of pressure to buy. The salesperson listened to what I wanted and made sure I was given the opportunity to test drive the models I was interested in. There was no rush, no pressure and I felt I got a very good deal on my trade in. I would definitely return and recommend this dealership to a friend. More
