Left a bad taste in my mouth. Quick plug here, if you read nothing else. If you’re buying a diesel from Marysville Ford (or any dealer in the Marysville area), get a pre-purchase inspection done by Diesel Outfitters. They’re 6 minutes down the road, and it costs $120 w/tax. As for my review of Marysville Ford? This is the second time I have made the mistake of not checking reviews on a dealer before I went. I won’t write a whole book here. I was going to look at a 2012 Ford F-250 King Ranch 4WD (with the 6.7L Powerstroke). I was in love with the truck before I got there, and being in and around the truck made me that much happier. I did appreciate that the salesman, “Manny”, let me drive the truck for about 30-45 minutes. One consistent red flag was that the they kept giving me pushback on the pre-purchase inspection. I do want to be clear here that they definitely knew I was going to buy the truck if it passed inspection. They kept telling me the truck had already been inspected, and there was nothing wrong with it. I should’ve known something was wrong when they didn’t draw up purchase paperwork before I went to the inspection. The truck passed inspection up until the very last step, which was to put it up on the lift. Once lifted, it was discovered that there was significant rust on the undercarriage and rear brakes. When I arrived back at the dealer, there was no surprise at what was found and no surprise that I didn’t want the truck. The last offense was when the salesman told me that I *had* to go home with a truck today, and tried to push me towards some Super Duty’s that were not in the style I wanted, and even tried to wrangle me into an F-150 (what?!?!?). I cut my losses, and left before he could get his manager. Bum experience, and not one I want to repeat. I mostly am frustrated that they continued this charade for almost 8 hrs., costing me significant time and money. There are quite a few good Ford dealers in the Puget Sound area; I think three are actually listed as certified dealers on here. Do yourself a favor, shop around. More
The bad service lasts as long as you own the vehicle! Also, the "delivery" process was nonexistent. No one bothered to show me how to use any features on the vehicle or even put the floor mats in the car... The aftermath of this whole experience is what has left me to leave a one-star review. Not even a month after purchasing the vehicle I had to get new tires (that was $1,200). The vehicle was completely rusted on the underside and the back passenger door had a huge key mark in it. The owner offered to pay for half of the sand blast/undercoating & the door repair. This was a nice offer but it had to be done by these sketchy people that rent out their shop. The people took longer than quoted which was a huge inconvenience but the best part was my car is SILVER and they painted (without blending) my door WHITE. The door had bubbles, was the wrong color and took about 4 days longer than they said to have it all sorted out. This dealer has most of their body work done with these people so WATCH OUT! If all of this wasn't bad enough I had to purchase a $32 handled just to be able to use the seat back on my passenger side, and they made me install it myself! The cover of my 3rd row seating / Cargo area is cracked so I cannot use the left side of my cargo area -- what good is an SUV if you cant use half the space? Aside from the car itself I was bullied into buying the oil change package through their store --forcing me to have my oil changed by them or to waste my money. I called over 6 times to try and cancel this and showed up to the building 2 times only to have their finance director hide from me and ignore my calls to avoid losing her money on the cancellation. I didn't want to throw my hard earned money away so I took my vehicle in for it's first oil change, I specifically asked them NOT to rotate my tires as they did not need to be and I really just didn't want them too but guess what! They rotated my tires anyways. They call the service "The Works!" if you call not following customer wishes and not washing the car "The Works!" then they sure do provide it. I just took my car in about a week ago for it's second oil change and the lady was super nice and I will give it to them they had the car in and out in a breeze however they once again rotated tires that I didn't want rotated AND my Explorer came back to me covered in red fluid of some kind. YES they returned my vehicle DIRTIER than when I left it with them. Overall I wouldn't recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. The staff is pushy, they sell garbage vehicles & the long term relationship is not a relationship you want to be in. More

After a short time the service guy called her and said it was the high pressure oil pump and the stand pipes and they would fix them for $3200. We declined the service and did some research and got a second opinion only to find out it was a "dummy" plug and stc and could be fixed same day for less than $800. Apparently the problem i was having is common on 05-07 6.0 Powerstrokes and any mechanic who knows his stuff or can perform at an adequate level at least would have figured it out within a few minutes. This leads me to believe they were either incompetent at their jobs or were trying to rip me off. Either way you look at it they should be fired and never allowed near a wrench again. More

I was not meet by any sale people and had to go inside and ask the front desk for help. Once I got a sales person I drove the car and wanted to make a deal. I was told about a product called Lojack and the was told it had already been installed on my car. I told them I didn't want it and to remove Lojack. The sales person said they couldn't take it out but would sell it to me at a discount. Once I got to financing the paperwork said it was already installed on my car, but a few weeks later I get a call from the service department and they wanted to set up a date and time of when I could bring my car in to have Lojack installed. Ronald Logan told me after we worked up a deal that the 575 dollar fee for FINANACED AFTER MARKETS (LoJack install) could not be removed! They advertise an Internet price and throw this on top wether you asked for it or not is very shady practice. Especially when you ask if it can be removed and told no. If they( marysville ford) are going operate this way they should at least ad the cost in to the advertised price ' More
poor service My husband called and scheduled an appointment for the rear pinion seal and an oil change well we dropped it off the day before and said we needed it My husband called and scheduled an appointment for the rear pinion seal and an oil change well we dropped it off the day before and said we needed it by 3 o'clock the next day so we called and they said they got the oil change done but they don't have the parts for the rear pinion seal so then why did I schedule a appointment to have it done and they just said that we wanted an estimate then why did I get an email that said thanks for scheduling with us for the pinion seal and oil change and inspection... They fit the stereotype of car salesmen Do not trust these people. I bought two vehicles in the past year. One from Jerry Smith Kia in Mt. Vernon and a second from Marysville Ford. Jerry Smi Do not trust these people. I bought two vehicles in the past year. One from Jerry Smith Kia in Mt. Vernon and a second from Marysville Ford. Jerry Smith was fair, fast, and honest. Marysville played nothing but games. First, they like to play the take your car keys to value your trade in and hold on to them so you can't leave game. Then, they tried to low ball me on the trade in and charge me MSRP of a NEW vehicle for a 2012 USED one. After finally getting them to reasonable prices on both (only after saying I would think on it and getting ready to leave), as part of the deal, they were going to install running boards. I was told the total cost to purchase and install the running boards was $1,000 and they would SPLIT that cost with me so that I was only paying $500. The next day, I found the running boards on the NissanUSA website for $184. When I asked the sales manager about this gross discrepancy (why would they charge $800 to install a $200 part) I was told they never agreed to SPLIT the cost. The $500 was the cost of both the part and service (their running boards were twice as much at $360 with $140 install charge). When I asked why their running boards cost TWICE as much as Nissan....no response (btw I bought a Nissan from them). So, I called Nissan. They are going to install BOTH step rails AND a bed extender for me...total cost just over $500. Imagine that! More

Terrible Sales Experience PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS!! If you plan on purchasing a car from Marysville Ford based on their ADVERTISED online prices and high customer rat PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS!! If you plan on purchasing a car from Marysville Ford based on their ADVERTISED online prices and high customer ratings (Yelp, Google+, Edmunds, etc...), like I was, please BEWARE of sneaky salesmen (in my personal opinion)!!! I've honestly never felt more taken advantage of by a reputable establishment....in particular, I felt poorly informed by both MIKE (sales mgr) and Justin (finance mgr) who were working in conjunction with Dominick Pace (internet sales mgr). I felt poorly informed about an additional ~$900.00 cost for a LoJack System which was already equipped on the car prior to my arrival on the lot!! So, the ADVERTISED sales price of $14,986 was actually $15,781 BEFORE tax. I feel like their advertisements are very misleading because if I am NOT given the option to decline the LoJack System that is already equipped on the car then why don't they advertise the sales price as $15,781?!! Per Justin, my car came "equipped with LoJack which is a pretty cool feature" but never informed me of a cost. I signed off on a LoJack acceptance form but was never told that I had any other option. It has been a VERY stressful week trying to deal with all of this and once I get more time, I will be sure to update this post and share my personal experience in further detail. Thanks for reading! *Purchased a USED car on Tuesday 6/24/2014 More
