I have had many Volvos, loved all of them, and am a faithful customer. This event was different for me. I had a serious accident when someone rammed into the passenger side of my car. No one was sitting there, and I was only shaken up. It was an unfortunate way to see how well the safety features of the car's engineering worked. Safety is the reason I bought my first Volvo in 1999, and I'm grateful for it. As soon as I walked into the body shop to check on the car's status, the receptionist there and the adjustor, Joe, I believe, were extremely helpful. Then a wonderful young man took me to my car so I could get belongings out of it. He wouldn't let me go until he was sure I had taken care of everything. I was very shaken (had never been in an accident), and he was very kind. Because I live 60 miles away, I thought I should look at a replacement car in case mine was totaled. Mike Minnick sold me the damaged car, and he immediately set about finding something to meet my needs in a new car. He is efficient, helpful, kind and very professional. My car was totaled, and yesterday I picked up the new one. Again, Mike familiarized my husband and me with the car's features, and once again, I have transportation. Except for the highly challenging traffic interchange in front of the showroom, we are very pleased with Pollock's operation. As someone who has experienced many performance evaluations, I understand the employee's perspective. I also know that a good employer treats valued employees well. It appears that Pollock values its outstanding employees. More
