I wanted to make 5 negative stars but it wont let me. .. I was looking to buy a new truck 1 year ago and I wanted a loaded up truck a f-350 Platinum well Ken Garff kept posting 1 for sale and I would inq .. I was looking to buy a new truck 1 year ago and I wanted a loaded up truck a f-350 Platinum well Ken Garff kept posting 1 for sale and I would inquire on it and they would say it was sold. Well they keep their ad up for a couple months and I keep checking on it but I was told its sold come on down we have other low end trucks. I did not want a low end truck! Finally I called again and to my surprise it was for sale at 5k over MSRP. Well this truck was hard to find and so I went down to them and they F****ed with me on it so i went home no sale that day. Decided to go down again and had to meet there terms (pay over MSRP and use their financing) No one went over truck with me at all and I received NO paper work? huh? When I got home as I live an hour away looking at truck the driver seat (you know the edge that gets wore from getting in and out) looked like the truck had 50k miles on it. I also have problems with the Nav system and ford pass. So truck sat in garage all winter because of some surgeries I had. I took it out a few weeks ago and the driver side doors don't align so I took to a body shop and they think it was wrecked and repaired! Now I have problems with a 100k truck and Ken Garff does not help! Oh and when I asked about the leather seat to service they said to take it to this leather shop but the warranty does no cover it. I have been buying Brand new vehicles for 30 years now and NEVER had to deal with a dealer as poor as Ken Garff. This is the worst dealer in Utah hands down! BUYER BEWARE STAY AWAY FROM THEM!! More
Bought a used Ram, within a week a had fuel issue. On the day I made my 2nd payment the engine had a issue. I dropped it off and ever since I never get the follow up that I am told I would get but n On the day I made my 2nd payment the engine had a issue. So that’s two payments made in the first 3 months and two major issues and it could be another month before I see it. Do yourself a favor and buy somewhere else. More
Bought a Chevy Tahoe on May 29th 2023, A/C went out within a week, they did fix that, after having it for a week,then a week and a half later, vehicle started running really rough, sluggish at getting within a week, they did fix that, after having it for a week,then a week and a half later, vehicle started running really rough, sluggish at getting to freeway speeds, popping sounds from front and rear, called and spoke to Ron in service, he said it was our problem and call extended warranty, which we did and they told us had to wait 30 days for contract to go into effect, just took it to the shop and $4,000 worth of repairs on a supposedly certified used vehicle, have called don't there multiple times and left messages for Scott Adams (sales manager) or that's who receptionist says I need to talk to, will not return a single phone call, they got their money for purchase and couldn't care less!!! More

Reluctantly I had to select a 1 star for their review, and there was not a minus star for my choosing. I found a van on Ken Garff Ford of West Valley's website I was interested in purchasing. I live 4 and there was not a minus star for my choosing. I found a van on Ken Garff Ford of West Valley's website I was interested in purchasing. I live 4 hours away from their location. I called the dealership at 9:30 am. Salesman Bret Allen answered my call. We spoke at length about the van, and he confirmed it was on the lot and available to purchase. After hearing all the beautiful things about the van, I said I would call my Credit Union and get financing and get the VIN from my possible trade-in. I inquired about a deposit on the van while checking things out and getting all the information to make a possible purchase. He told me about a $1,000 NON-refundable deposit to secure the van. Bret stated, well, no one is here looking at the van. You should be okay. 10 am, we got off the phone, and I started to gather all the information to make a purchase/decision: financials, VIN of a trade-in, and confirming my niece could come down that afternoon to test drive the van. If all checked out, the NON-refundable deposit would be made to them after the test drive. Shortly after hanging up the phone, I received a text from Rudy Backer; he sent photos and videos of the van. Over the next three hours, we shared 73 texts back and forth, and I secured financing through MY Credit Union and was getting the VIN for a possible trade-in. 1:00 pm One last question for Rudy in a text, does it have a receiver hitch? He responds to my text, "It got sold." WOWZER - I was naturally taken aback by the lack of consideration for my time and effort to purchase a vehicle from this well-known dealership. I called Bret Allen and said, what the heck? I secured my financing and had my niece scheduled to test drive the van, and yadda, yadda, yadda. Bret said well, a guy walked in, test-drove the van, and said he wanted it. Bret said, "I told Rudy he needed to call you to let you know. That call was not made. Naturally, again I was taken aback by the lack of consideration for my time and effort to purchase a vehicle from this well-known dealership. I received the General Sales Manager's name and phone number. I was told he was in an all-afternoon meeting with their company salesmen, and I could leave him a message. I called and left a message. At most, 5 minutes later, I received a call from General Sales Manager Chris Carmody. I explained my situation, and the lack of consideration for my time and effort to purchase a vehicle was horrible. He STRONGLY supported his salesman in how I was treated. He was very aggressive in his speech, cutting me off several times and yelling at one point, "You were made aware of our policy of a deposit"! I had worked with two salesmen over the phone for 3 hours on the vehicle! My credit took a hit with the inquiry. The General Sales Manager, Chris Carmody needed to be more empathic with how I was treated. As a "General Manager," his lack of professionalism was appalling. He said, "Well if the deal does not go through with the other buyer, we will call you." I laughed and said, "No, thank you." This customer will NEVER recommend or visit this dealership ever!! My review may not mean anything to them or you, but I needed to express my displeasure with Ken Garff Ford of West Valley, Utah. UGH More
