Walked into the sales desk & asked for a sales rep, Micheal walked right over to help us. It was 8:30 at night and he assisted us until 11:30 that night when we walked out the door with the vehicle tha Micheal walked right over to help us. He was so patient, he worked with our budget, he didn't pressure us into getting something we didn't want. We had been to three other dealerships previously that night and what a difference it was in going to Ken Garff and working with Michael. We ended up getting a Mercury Moutaineer that would fit our family so we wouldn't have to take two cars everywhere we traveled. Thank you so much for taking that extra time with us, staying late and for not pressuring us into buying something that we didn't want and would regret the next day. I will never go to this dealership again. I was lied to about the price of several cars. Was told certain cars were "out of my price range" when in fact they weren't. It was almost as if there was just one about the price of several cars. Was told certain cars were "out of my price range" when in fact they weren't. It was almost as if there was just one specific car they only wanted to sell me and they were certainly willing to lie about everything to get me to buy it. I ended up getting the car I wanted only after I went online and shoved proof in their faces that it wasn't as expensive as they were claiming. However my rate was considerably higher than what I was told it would be. I was also told that if I didn't get the Gap insurance and a service contract it was a "dead deal"- I felt bullied and pressured the entire time. Buying a car is supposed to be an exciting experience. For me…I was sick to my stomach and stressed out. I just wanted to let you know my Ken Garff experience. More

An automobile that would not only get good fuel mileage but look stylish and last for years to come. With this criteria in mind, it was decided to go to Ken Garff of West Valley City, Utah. This dealership in West Valley has been known for customer service and they lived up to all of our expectations. The sales staff, Michael Douglas, was friendly and knowledgeable. If we had a question that wasn't known, Michael would go out of his way to find the answer. He made every effort to help us make an informed intelligent decision. He is truly a master of his profession and deserves most all the credit as to why we decided to buy from this dealer. Last but probably the most important part of our experience, the dreaded price. Like always, they started out high and we answered back with a low offer. This part of the experience of buying a car is where the professionalism of our salesman, Michael Douglas, came through. Soft spoken and reassuring during all aspects of this experience, he left us with a sense of ease. I called numerous dealerships to see if I could get borrow a white Ford Mustang to use to propose to my wife (white horse). My plan was to pick her up dressed as a Prince Charming, propose to her, and borrow a white Ford Mustang to use to propose to my wife (white horse). My plan was to pick her up dressed as a Prince Charming, propose to her, and take her from her home to a castle (a bed and breakfast I had booked a room at)for the night. I was not having any luck until I called Ken Garff's dealership after looking online and seeing they had a white 2005 convertible mustang. Michael was very excited to assist me and said they would be more than happy to lend me the car for the evening if I would just fill out the proper paperwork. When I arrived, Michael met me and the car was at a sister dealership down the street. Michael accompanied me to the dealership to pick up the beautiful stallion of a car! Unfortunately, the car's battery was dead. Michael had other customer's that were arriving to meet him at his other dealership, but he took the time to jump start the car and get me on my way. Wow! The night was a complete success! I pulled up to my girlfriend's house and revved the engine. She came out to hear the beast in her driveway. I got out and said some personal things and got down on one knee and proposed. Of course she said, "Yes!" We then drove to the castle bed and breakfast with the top down, the wind in our hair and checked in. Later that evening I returned the mustang. Michael wasn't there when I returned the car, but other members of the Ken Garff staff were and they were all wonderful to work with. They all knew up front that I would NOT be purchasing a car that night, but the impression they left on me and my bride-to-be was amazing! If they can take that much care and time for someone NOT purchasing a car, I can only imagine how much care and attention they take when you are an actual buying customer! Dan was very friendly and knowledgable about the products he sells. We gave him the parameters we were looking for when we called him prior to arriving @ the dealership. After discussing with us what he had matched to our wants/needs it was determined that although the vehicles he had identified were not what we wanted he went right to work and found the perfect vehicle. Dan was not pushy and made the buying experience a pleasure. We are very happy with the car that we purchased from Ken Garff West Valley Dodge. I took my vehicle into have recall done 1 month ago. I also had a yellow light that keeps coming on. They charged me 500.00 to fix it and as I left the light was still on. I took it back and now the light also had a yellow light that keeps coming on. They charged me 500.00 to fix it and as I left the light was still on. I took it back and now the light is on again. another 300.00 to fix it again. I told them to forget it. they told me that this is something different but it doesn't seem logical that I keep fixing the same problem. More
