I went into this dealership just to check if my credit was even good enough to buy a car all by myself and to my surprise it was, and to my greater surprise I ended up driving away with a new used car. I don't think I could have asked for a better sales person to work with because he made the best deal he could possibly get for me and the car I ended up buying. The place was friendly, supportive despite my freaking out over my first ever car purchase, and I got a deal for an amazing car, and I have visited twice since I bought my car to get some work done to it and the customer service is professional, efficient, and very friendly. I had bought a 2009 Jetta and it was totaled within a month....I was pleased with the service I bought antoher 2011 Jetta. However, this is when the service went from good to bad. I had stopped by the dealer to cancel my tire warranty plan when the 2009 was totaled.....the finance manager ( his name slips me) couldn't find a cancellation form so we typed one up and I signed in on Aug 16,2001 ( I found out later from a Fidelity rep the cancellation form can be downloaded from Fidelity's site. Anyway mid october (2 months)the refund hadn't been processed yet. I went thru a few phone calls to this finance manager ( and even started to stop by the dealer every day) When I called Fidelity they explained they just received the cancellation notice Oct 26 and it should be processed by the end of the week. I also learned that a credit is issued back to the dealer 9even thought this same finance manager assured me it doesnt go back to the dealer. Anyway VW Credit finally got paid Nov 7, 2011. Also, I took my 2011 in for servicing because my car seemed to stall when excelerating...I was told this was normal. Wow! Took it back for another scheduled service and told the service rep I wanted to get some touch up paint, the service rep told me to see the parts dept. I went to the parts dept and he suggested that since I had my car in the repair shop they could put the request on the maintenance ticket. I went back to the service rep and let him know what the parts dept rep said. When they were finished I was given my car back and no service ticket or order request. That was Nov 15, 2011..Pretty much given up on service there More
Jack and Brian were great! This process was the best car buying experience ever! Very simple and I did everything on-line. We were in and out under an hour. On thing that was disappointing was that I did not realize until after I purchased my car and was driving home that the power door locks did not work. In fact, the passenger door cannot be manually locked from the inside (not safe.) The car is 10 years old and I did agree to purchase "as is." When I emailed Jack about the door locks, hoping that there might be a chance that the great service I had before I purchased would continue after the sale, I did not received a confused response and when I replied to that response with more detail, I never heard back. Now I am stuck covering the cost of 2 new power door lock motors, but I guess I should have checked before I signed. Overall, it was still a good experience. More

I recently moved from North Carolina and had established contact with Jack Rasmussen over the phone. He was extremely cordial and knowledgeable when I presented him with various questions. When I finally arrived at the dealership, he was exactly what I DID NOT expect from a salesman. Throughout the whole experience, I never once felt rushed or hassled into buying a vehicle; even though I needed one immediately. The first Jetta SE he brought out was exactly what I had in mind. The terms of the agreement were explained thoroughly, leaving no room for questions after his initial explanation. When it came to financing, I dealt with Christian Harding who was equally as exceptional. He was very candid and straight to the point when I made inquiries. Not to mention the patience he had. Overall, I would highly recommend SanTan Volkswagen to anyone who enjoys great customer service or is a first time car buyer like myself. I hate to sound cliche, but I couldn't have asked for a better first time buying experience. More
On October 4, my husband and I purchased a Golf TDI 2012 from this dealership in Gilbert. As you know, a car search can be a very exhausting and stressful experience as one tries to decide on a car that is the best suited for them with regard to style, price, reliability etc. I am writing this letter to express our pleasure at the way we were treated by this dealership. Jack Rasmussen and Ronald Sund were the sales guys that we dealt with and they were awesome. We found them to be very professional, knowledgeable, and willing to spend lots of time with us as we tried to make our decision. We didn't feel pressured in any way which was refreshing...right down to pricing. Jack and Ronnie answered all of our questions and are continuing to do so as we learn all about the tech package that we purchased with this model. We feel we got a quality vehicle and one that fits our needs. I would also like to acknowledge the support staff such as Becky, in service, who was cordial and dealt efficiently with a couple of issues that we had, as well as, Mike who put us at ease with regard to the sound quality of the speakers and Brian in finance. The showroom is both inviting to the customer and a wonderful work environment for the employee. We found the service area very impressive with cleanliness and high tech. They certainly have great customer service. You can't go wrong. More

We have been to other dealerships and invested alot of time asking questions and test driving, on top of much internet research. We were so excited driving our new car off the lot of another dealership, o time asking questions and test driving, on top of much internet research. We were so excited driving our new car off the lot of another dealership, only to discover that the "paperwork" wasn't quite right... and the interest rate and price promised were not being honored. We had to return our new car four days later. At San Tan VW we did not spend hours and hours negotiating. We were treated fairly and honestly. We were not called the next day and asked to come back and pay more than we had agreed upon. It has been two weeks since our visit to San Tan and no one has asked me to return my new car. I could not be happier. Thanks for a good experience. More
