I recently decided to purchase a new car and after looking at several makes & models decided on a Volkswagen. I called then visited this dealer and talked to Deven. I shopped around more and Deven ended up getting me an incredible deal on a new car. San Tan's facility was top rate and their customer service was the best. We had not really intended to buy a car that morning with visitors in town, but when we spotted a white Passat on the lot we decided to go for it but under time pressure. Deven Price, our sales person understood our time crunch and helped speed the deal through without the usual car dealer BS. This was one of the fastest, smoothest car transactions I have experienced. I can not begin to tell you how wonderful an experience I had at Santan VW! When I parked my car, I barely took two steps towards the dealership when I was greeted by a distinguished older gentleman who w had at Santan VW! He escorted me into the dealership and went to tell Deven that I was there. Deven and I had been communicating via email for about a week, when I discovered that Santan VW had the Plantinum Gray Turbo Beetle that I WANTED. I loved the fact that when I made my appointment to meet with Deven, that MY Beetle was taken off the market. My work schedule is odd, and I live in Tucson, so finding the time to get up to Gilbert was definitely a squeeze. But I refused to compromise on what I wanted and Deven  made sure I didn't have to. Deven is an absolutely, delightful bundle of positive energy! Very friendly, kinda quirky, and rather funny! All qualities I respond to! (I work in retail management, and would hire her in a heartbeat!) Being someone who works in sales, I don't like being "catered to", I just want to be welcomed. That is exactly how I felt.  Deven also demonstrates an absolute passion for VW and the dealership she works for! When she was showing me My Beetle, I felt she was just as giddy and excited about the car as I was! Before I drove off the lot, she made sure I knew how to use all the features that were important to me, in particularly the music and communication system. She made sure that i knew that any question, no matter how trivial, i can call her anytime.  BTW, the drive home was killer, I LOVE MY BEETLE! I am driving up to the Sedona area to visit my sister and bro-in-law this weekend, and I can't wait for the drive!!! Christian in finance was also amazing to work with! I felt that he sincerely wanted to work towards the best financing and warranty coverage for ME. He also has a passion for what he does, and for the company he works for. As for "Would I recommend Santan VW to my friends?" the answer is a big HELL YES! To the point that I am planning on making the two hour drive from Tucson for all my service needs, just so I can be surrounded by the incredible positive energy that flows thru out your dealership. We recently brought in our Minivan we had purchased in late October because the rotors were warped. The sales person I worked with (Patrick) made my experience very comfortable - we all know that generally when we walk into a car dealership we have that overwhelming dreaded feeling and fear they a experience very comfortable - we all know that generally when we walk into a car dealership we have that overwhelming dreaded feeling and fear they are going to be pushy. I can honestly say I never felt like that once - Patrick was so easy to work with and extremely down to earth - I didn't feel like I was working with a salesman - now that may be a sign of an excellent salesman but at least I never felt tied down or required to purchase a car simply because he spent time with me. The day before I had worked with someone at CarMax...he was nice but the next day I was going to visit again and that salesman was extremely rude at CarMax and made me feel like I wasted their time since I chose not to purchase with them - again, with San Tan Volkswagon I never felt like I was obligated nor did I have any concern that I was wasting their time. They worked with me, took me on the test drive and I told him up front - I have limited funds so wanted to stay around my current car payment and I was also upside down in my current vehicle - he simply said...don't worry, we'll work with you and will find something that is comfortable for you. Patrick did all of the leg work between trying to strike a deal, though we didn't get at the same car payment I could never be happier with my experience. I then moved onto Christian and he even took the extra time as well to see if he could help bring down my payment - he went over all the options with me and the bottom line was the issue of the other vehicle - basically I'll make things work as I love my car. All I'm waiting for now is for a part to come in that they ordered for the seat and lastly my window tint to be completed and the car will be complete - I look forward to driving this car for the next 5 years + (and it will be paid off before then). I can honestly say - try SanTan Volkswagon out - you won't be disappointed in the volkswagon brand and you'll be very pleased with the staff there. The all completely go out of their way...I even had a 3 year old with me that the receptionist went above and beyond in helping me keep her entertained while we made a deal...When the time comes to move into another vehicle, I will be sure to visit them again!!
