San Tan Volkswagen has made every effort to try and make the above customers happy. Unfortunately there are several issues that prevent us from giving them back what they paid for their car or take them out of their current car and just replace it with another vehicle. Some of the issues are: • They have owned the vehicle for almost 9 months and their vehicle has been through several blue book changes • They have put over 25,000 miles on the vehicle since they purchased it 9 months ago. A 98,000 mile car (current mileage) is not worth the same as a 73,000 mile car (mileage at time of purchase). • They rolled negative equity from their trade-in into their current loan and the customer is unwilling to come up with any money down to make up for this fact. We are unable to get another loan without money down. • Our service department has made several recommendations to maintain the vehicle and the above customer always says they will do it themselves and when they bring the car back with another issue the prior recommendations have NEVER been addressed or done • The customer doesn’t take care of the car and appears to be drive it very, very hard For all of the reasons listed, and then some, we are unable to give the above customer what they paid for the vehicle and unwind the transaction made almost 9 months ago.
