I felt really comfortable during my dealings with them. I have bought cars in the past, and this was the most positive experience ever. I did not feel like I was being ripped off, instead, I know that I g I have bought cars in the past, and this was the most positive experience ever. Lorin was great. He did beat around the bush. Dealership struck a deal by previous visit and then phone follow up. When we came in to purchase the car they did not want to honor the deal. Wasted two hours and never even saw the final deal in writing. I follow up. When we came in to purchase the car they did not want to honor the deal. Wasted two hours and never even saw the final deal in writing. Initially tried to charge $3,000 OVER sticker price on a new beetle convertible because it was a high demand car. We ran out of time because they were so slow and the said "if you walk out we can't honor the deal tomorrow". We went to another dealership the next day who honored the deal and got us out the door in an hour. Stay away from this dealership!!!! More

Took our Jetta in for routine service. Setting the appointment was easy and convenient. The shuttle service was timely and efficient. We've been taking this car to San Tan Volkswagen for routine service for a couple years. When I picked up my car the service consultant was rude. He showed me the recommended repairs and I noticed they wanted $43.80 to change a single tail light bulb. I laughed out loud thinking it was an error. I couldn't believe they would charge that much for a tail light bulb. Jeff suddenly started grabbing paperwork, stapling things, and got mad saying, "You don't have to have the work done here, you don't need to bring your car here." I told him that's a bit much for a two dollar light bulb. He tried to make it sound like it was a labor and manpower intense job, that some entire assembly needed to come apart. He pushed the credit card machine in my direction, and told me the total for the bill. I was still looking at the recommended service report, and asked about brakes. I asked how they determined the rear brakes were bad, and if the rotors could be turned or needed replacing. I asked if they eyeball it or if they use a micrometer. Without even glancing at the report he used a smart alec tone of voice and snapped,"They use a gauge, do you want to see it." I told him no thanks and paid my bill. I replaced all six of my taillight bulbs in 10 minutes for $18.00. More

Our lease was ending, and my wife and I were contemplating purchasing the vehicle or leasing a new one. We have leased 5 Nissans and 4 Hondas over the last 13 years, before moving to Arizona. contemplating purchasing the vehicle or leasing a new one. We have leased 5 Nissans and 4 Hondas over the last 13 years, before moving to Arizona. We visited several East Valley dealerships, and all of them rubbed us the wrong way, using high pressure sales tactics and trying to make it sound like we were getting a good deal when we clearly knew we weren't. After reading about the Passat, we hesitantly decided to visit SanTan Volkswagen in Gilbert. We were greeted by Jack Rasmussen. He let us browse the vehicles in the showroom and, when we were ready, explained the features and differences of the Jetta and Passat. He offered insight and suggestions when appropriate. Jack was friendly and not pushy at all. His personality is very genuine, and he made us feel comfortable throughout the process. After a short discussion, Jack and the dealership were able to offer a price that met our budget which was important to us. They didn't try to pressure or cheat us. We left the dealership to get a bite to eat and think about it. We returned an hour later to make the purchase. We have never purchased a car in one day, but Jack Rasmussen and SanTan Volkswagen made it easy to do so. We are very happy with our new Passat. For your next vehicle, give SanTan Volkswagen a shot. I normally hate going out to purchase a car but I have to say our experiance at SanTan VW was great. Our Sales person was not pushy, had lots of knowlege of the Passat we perchased and was more then willing say our experiance at SanTan VW was great.
