The car I purchased had to be delivered from another dealership. It was a long wait, but Jack was very attentive and kept me updated as to where the car was and the timeline as to when it would be read dealership. The pleasantries continue throughout the entire stay which included complimentary beverages, a tour of the showroom floor, a tour of the remarkable servicing facilities, an explanation of benefits of ownership, superior financing and ended with a final consultation of the most common features that will be used while enjoying the vehicle. Information was provided during the entire process from the personal needs that are expected of the vehicle to the financing needs based on affordability. Some information proved to be so valuable that it ended up saving me potentially hundreds if not thousands of dollars in finance savings and warranty coverage. The test drive confirmed if not exceeded the expectation of the quality of build of the Volkswagen brand. Don't be afraid to test drive other brands of vehicles because it will only further support the fact that you are making the right decision to buy a Volkswagen. The overall experience fully solidified that this will be a vehicle that keeps my family safe, is affordable, dependable, and trustworthy for years to come. The San Tan staff also exemplifies this when the human aspect of the equation is factored into the owning of and servicing of my new Volkswagen. You are not buying a car. I visited San Tan Valley VW when I first was inquiring about purchasing a year and a half ago. I had a great experience the first time I went in the Spring of 2012 (I think his name was Ron) although the about purchasing a year and a half ago. I had a great experience the first time I went in the Spring of 2012 (I think his name was Ron) although the dealership didn't have a Golf TDI at the time. Six months later in Nov 2012 I went in again and the salesman that I was dealing with (can't remember his name) was terrible. He was a fast talking, pushy and a very sterotypical "car salesman". I went through all the way to having them appraise my vehicle but I was not treated with respect or courtesy; it was as if he just wanted get it over with. I decided to purchase a vehicle with Lunde's in Peoria which is 60+ miles from my house in Gilbert. I then came in to San Tan in February 2013 to inquire about getting touch up paint and was told that it was not in stock and to "check back" because they get it in every so often. (really?) I then stopped in 3 months ago in April 2013 to San Tan and inquired about Service Express (which Lunde's provides) to get my first service done and I was told that this dealership didn't provide that service and I had to make an appointment to get it done and it was to be paid for by me; to which I declined, obviously. Today July 26, 2013 I was called by Stephanie to give my opinion about my experience with San Tan VW and given Lorin's phone number as an option to call about my "recent" visit to San Tan Valley. When I called at 5:30pm Lorin had no idea why I called and sounded like I was bothering him asking me to refresh his memory. After I told him that I had not been there in a long time and didn't understand the reason for the call he asked me about my visit to San Tan and I told him all about the terrible service I had encountered trying to buy a car, get touch-up paint and my first service. Lorin had NOTHING to say other than he would take note. He went on about that San Tan was #1 on this site for VW dealerships in the Valley for 2012 and 2013 and that amazes me because my experiences have not been anything but bad. What a true manager would do is apologize for my experiences and ask me to come back but that didn't hapen. He didn't apologize for my bad experience, he didn't ask me to come in or how he could make it better... he just went on and about his rating on this site. I want to say that I would rather drive the 60+ miles to Lunde's Peoria VW to get my work done even though I live 3 miles from San Tan VW. San Tan VW should take a customer service course from Lunde's... as Lunde's is amazing and they can say that they are the #1 VW dealership in the USA. More
I have to tell you that this was one of the most pleasant experiences if not the most pleasant i have had a car dealership. My wife and I came in to start the process of getting a car. Without any of the "cl experiences if not the most pleasant i have had a car dealership. My wife and I came in to start the process of getting a car. Without any of the "cliche" sales pitches by Ron, we enced up with a lease on a new Jetta. Christian was great to deal with in the finance end. We were explained everything and I felt comfortable walking out of the dealership that we were treated as fairly as possible.
