Easy to make an appointment. Very friendly. Work is done in a timely manner. Love that they warn you of upcoming needs for your next appointment so it isn’t a surprise. Very friendly. David, the service representative did a good job. He was friendly and he kept me informed during the whole process, and my car was done 15 minutes before they said it would be. 2018 Nissan Sentra with 34K miles. Need the iPDM replaced. They quoted 3.8 Hrs Labor and $1126 for the part. Approximately $1900. More than 10% the value of the car. Alldata labor was Need the iPDM replaced. They quoted 3.8 Hrs Labor and $1126 for the part. Approximately $1900. More than 10% the value of the car. Alldata labor was 1.0 hrs. Part MSRP was $955. Called other Nissan Dealerships for a quote including Diagnostic and Programming Time. Quotes were for 2.5 Hrs labor and $955 for the part. Confronted the Parts and Service Managers. Service Manager quickly modified the labor with a somewhat reasonable explanation. Parts manager said MSRP was only a suggestion . They are looking to make a larger profit margin since they have no competition in the valley. Parts profit at MSRP was already over $380 and no inventory expenses since part had to be ordered. They did ultimately charge MSRP for the part. Do your homework before authorizing repairs with Ken Garff Nissan of Orem. They are commissioned and you are the next person to be taken for the maximum shakedown. Ken Garff - We back you up- into Debt and Poverty. More
I am adjusting this rating after their customer service has disappeared. Had my car towed here on a Saturday with a bad ignition lock cylinder. Got assigned to work with Jacob, horrible communication. Tol has disappeared. Had my car towed here on a Saturday with a bad ignition lock cylinder. Got assigned to work with Jacob, horrible communication. Told car could be done Wednesday, or was not. I had to call to get told this. Then told Thursday, then Friday, then hopefully Saturday. During all of this when I would call and speak with Jacob he would just make things up. Like instead of pushing the car in they will LoJack it in. Then told me my shifting colum was locked. My shifter is not on the steering wheel and was not locked nor was the steering colum. Spoke with the manager Sierra you was not any better. When I asked for a corporate number she would not provide any information. After that call they magically got the car done Friday. When I went to pick it up they charged an extra $400.00 for work I told then not to do. I was helped by another worker since Jacob was talking with someone else. He did make sure to stop the other customer talking so he could yell over at me "so I heard you want to talk to my boss or corporate huh?" So after having my car for a week and over charging for unwanted work he wants to argue in front of another customer and their child. Will never recommend this dealership to anyone or being another car here. More
Scheduled an oil change and recall software update for 11:30 am. Was told would take 45min to an hour. Left and returned 1 hour and 25 minutes later. Car was in the parking lot. Went in an talked to 11:30 am. Was told would take 45min to an hour. Left and returned 1 hour and 25 minutes later. Car was in the parking lot. Went in an talked to service rep. Said car still did not have the recall finished. I told him the car was in the parking lot. He seemed surprised. He went and checked on it and returned and said that the techs that would do the recall software update had “gone to lunch” and would be back later. Asked if I wanted to wait. After already waiting 1.5 hours I told him no and left. I realize the techs need lunch, etc. - but if I schedule a specific appointment time, and take time out of my schedule to be there then, why wasn’t a tech available to do the recall at the time specified. Oil change and other work was all done well. More
I have a 2012 Nissan Altima. Not willing to help with repairs due to their faulty transmission design. It's sad they won't stand behind their product. Not willing to help with repairs due to their faulty transmission design. It's sad they won't stand behind their product. More
