I had a terrible experience at Long Beach Honda Car Dealership and would not recommend it to anyone. My brother and I had been in talks with the dealership for a week to see a Tesla Model S and had sch Dealership and would not recommend it to anyone. My brother and I had been in talks with the dealership for a week to see a Tesla Model S and had scheduled an appointment to view it. However, right as we were about to take the car for a test drive, another patron walked in on our appointment and sat in the car as my brother had the key in his hand. Despite our previous agreement with the salesperson and the fact that we had been working with them for over a week, the dealership said that the other customer is willing to pay full price, which we had no problem with. We politely asked the prospective buyer if it was still okay to test drive the car cause my brother wanted to feel the car and hopefully purchase a similar one in the future. The patron agreed and said that there is no problem with that. I asked the patron why did she want this car despite the mandatory dealer "accessory fees" that were added on the window sticker, to which she responds that it makes sense for her. Fair enough, we walk back into the dealership to request the test drive to which unbeknownst to us the sales person helping her, possibly due to motivation of a commission, instigated the manager falsely stating that we were trying dissuade the customer from purchasing the car and that the price to high. The manager come out yelling at us making a scene and telling us to "GET OUT"(actually said this), with no attempt at trying to understand the situation. We calmly requested to speak with him and clear the air to which he begrudgingly apologizes and has the audacity to ask us why are you talking to the other customer, when that customer interrupts our appointment and "steals" the car from us to which, again, we had no problem with. The customer service we received was unacceptable. The manager was unprofessional and showed no regard for our time or the fact that we had been working with them for a week. They were only interested in making a quick sale and didn't care about the inconvenience and disrespect they showed to us as customers. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone due to their unethical business practices, poor customer service and lack of transparency. It is a shame that this dealership does not value its customers and only focuses on making a quick profit. The manager told me that his name was Albert but it likely he lied as upon searching Albert of Long Beach Honda there was no manager of such name. If you ever happen to meet him in person you will instantly remember this review as his ego and unprofessionalism is beyond disbelief. More
I had a problem with audio in my odyssey so I drop my van late afternoon and they still accept it. They even help me lessen the payment because it was expensive. I was not going to go to LB Honda due to an experience several years ago. I saw a vehicle online and decided to stop in. I was greeted by Illy Aabid, a saleswoman. Illy was wonderful! A/C went out 4 mos after warranty. Service Dept. charged $185 to diagnose. Recommendation was to refill Freon and insert dye so next time they can be sure about leak. Even though technician said they could see where hose was leaking. They would not replace the hose. They want me to came back for another repair (and charge) once Freon leaks out (and it will because they wouldn't replace the hose). On top of all that, the service rep at first said the charge would be $199. He called back 15 mins later and said he made a mistake, the charge was supposed to be $349. Fifteen minutes later when we spoke again he said the charge should be $389, but they would be nice and refill the freon (at no extra charge) just the $185. Then they went ahead and did it without my approval. So I did not get the diagnosis I paid for, but apparantly I got some freon. Bought a car at this dealership a few years ago, but I will never go back. More
I had a 10:30 appointment. I have always felt a bit negative dealing with LB Honda when it was time to make a decision about a new car. But I had the best experience today because of Illy and Manny. They made me truly feel that I wa when it was time to make a decision about a new car. But I had the best experience today because of Illy and Manny. They made me truly feel that I was valued as a customer regardless of what the outcome was regarding my vehicle. I will be biting again from LB Honda! More
