While buying a car always seems to take a long time, the staff at Long Beach Honda did everything they could to make it an easy process. A small cosmetic defect on on some of the window trim was pointed out to me. I understand that the part is on order and will be replaced a upon it's arrival. That is real service! I am looking forward to returning to your dealership for regular maintenance service on my car and seeing some of my new friends again. More

Worst management ever. Zero level of professionalism My experience with Long Beach Honda is one that started alright and has continued to go downhill. I purchased a used Honda certified odyssey from then My experience with Long Beach Honda is one that started alright and has continued to go downhill. I purchased a used Honda certified odyssey from then in June 2016. The initial sale was relatively easy. The sales guy (Michael) was nice, did not know much about cars, but was not pushy or rude. Everything went fairly smooth except they were missing one of the keys to the car (all certified used cars have to have two sets). No problem they told me they will find the keys and mail them to me. 4 stars maybe 4.5 stars. Now we start downhill. A few days pass I call to check on keys and leave voicemails. Two more days pass without a response I call again and finally get Allen the finance guy to answer and say they will have to get me a new set. So another trip in to get a "due bill" and then another trip in to have the key cut and programmed because they could not schedule everything at once, even though it was their fault and their mistake. Drop the rating to 3 stars. Downhill again. I receive the title and it is only in my name, when I clearly stated and have the copy of the paperwork the shows the title should be held in my name and my wife's name. I am tired of wasting time with these guys so I do nothing, at least I have the title and can move on. 2 stars now. Further downhill. I receive registration renewal docs from DMV. I try to renew but cannot. Three DMV phone calls later (surprisingly all nice people at the DMV) and I find out that Long Beach Honda made an error on some documents to transfer title (they crossed out my wife's name on the transfer document, now I know why she was not in title). Because of this error I have to deal again with Long Beach Honda. I currently have calls in with the manager (Frank, who I am not even sure if this is a real person) and Edie (DMV Specailist) Frank has yet to call me back and Edie has been fairly nice. However, I am not truly satisfied with her suggested solutions (fill out a new form and statement that says my wife never wanted to be on title which is untrue or mail Long Beach Honda my pink slip, which frightens me after this mess). I have asked for another option (I will come in with the pink slip, fill out paperwork and get copies of everything) and I asked for compensation for my time lost due to a dealership error (I simply suggested they pay the registration renewal this time). Edie has been unable to help me because it requires a manager and now neither Edie or Frank have called me back. 1 star at this point. So, I now have many hours into fixing problems made by this dealership and I am very unhappy about it, but they do not care or so it seems from the lack of returned phone calls. I will update this if anyone tries to help improve the terrible customer service, but at this point it would be a zero star place if possible. I am truly wishing I would have bought somewhere else. Thanks Long Beach Honda for taking any joy out of my car purchase and for causing hours of extra work and loads of stress. Final update. The DMV was able to resolve the problem after I went to the dealership with my pink slip and mailed it and the letter the DMV sent to the dealership back. The manager, whom I left multiple messages with on his cell never had the decency to call me back. Edie at least did her job right. I cannot believe how terrible the management is at this place, I will never use this or any affiliate again and will tell all my friends to steer clear. You would be wise to do the same. More

No pressure, no haggling; I got what I wanted for my trade, and they matched another dealers price I got from Costco for the new car. Everyone was warm, welcoming and best of all, none of the sort of high pressure treatment one would expect from a store like a normal Honda/Toyota/Chevy mass market dealer. Jerry Forbes helped me over two days, and Marco doing all my paperwork was a breeze. The day after looking I came in to purchase, and I was in and out in a few hours. I would highly recommend anyone give these guys a chance at your business. It can get super busy on weekends, so if you can swing a weekday, you may be better off. Apparently this dealership was taken over a few months ago by another management group, so old reviews here may not be irrelevant. Only small irritating thing is customer parking sucks, is nearly non existent and not marked at all (just park where you see a free space whether its marked or not). When all is said and done however, super happy customer; hoping this continues through service appointments to come. More
