Questionable business practices My husband and I came into this dealership on Black Friday to look at Tellurides. We test drove one, a SX model, but found out that it was purchased w My husband and I came into this dealership on Black Friday to look at Tellurides. We test drove one, a SX model, but found out that it was purchased while we waited. There were no other models there so they offered to bring one over the next day from the Peoria location. First, we had told the salesperson that we wanted All Wheel drive and black interior. They totally disregarded that by telling us that the only Telluride they had was not AWD and they wouldn't confirm what color interior it had. Plus, it was the EX model and we wanted the SX. They requested a deposit to hold the car, which we paid. We weren't happy that we weren't really sure what model they had, so we left there and went to Mark Kia in Scottsdale. Johnny was more than accommodating, by being honest that they had none to test but he could promise one by Dec 15th. We got a fabulous price and they produced the car we wanted. We love it! Today, I receive a Notice of Adverse Action from Earnhardt Kia telling me that I don't qualify for their financing. Unbelievable! I never applied for any financing and actually paid cash for my car from Mark Kia. Their inquiry into my credit history will now remain on my record for two years! My credit score is fabulous. I would never step foot in their dealership again, let alone ever buy a car from them. I have requested they remove their inquiry on my credit history, but guess what? No one will call me back. Definitely, questionable business practices. More
