We first purchased a Kia Sedona a year ago and Mike and Tyler were AMAZING. Our credit was not the best they still helped us walk away with the van we wanted at the price we needed. This dealership goes above and beyond any other dealership I have dealt with in the past. So last month we decided we wanted a newer vehicle, so we went back and saw Mike and Tyler again. And again these two went above and beyond. I would recommend this dealership and especially Mike and Tyler to anyone that is looking for a new or used vehicle. The service department is even honest and extremely fair. We wanted to put roof racks on our newer vehicle after getting prices and talking to other after market vendors we decided for the price we would rather KIA Salazar do it. Jim let us know that our vehicle was not rated for racks and would not recommended. Jim is an honest man and a great part of KIA Salazar. This team is top notch!!! I went in on Saturday 08/11/12 to purchase a new car. I first dealt wirh Marcos (a new salesman) and then his trainer Saul. We looked at the Kia Sportage first, but then decided on getting a Sorento. We test drove 2 different vehicles (1 EX new and 1 SX used). We let Marcos know what options we were looking for and the price we wanted to pay per month. He then partnered with Bob (Manager) to talk price. This was late in the evening at this point, so we agreed to come back the next morning and give Bob time to locate a vehicle that matched our needs (he assured us he would make it happen). The next day, we were told there was not exact match and it now seemed there was some confusion with what options came with what trim (LX, EX, SX) and what trim we had asked for. Bob came back with some numbers on what ended up was a few different vehicles. They showed us the price printout with all terms and rates and we went back and forth a few times on price. What became really confusing is every time the Bob or Saul (who now got involved as well), came back to the table, the "trim" on the car was different as well as the sale price. So now with 3 people involved with us, it got very confusing as to what vehicle we were actually talking about and it was clear the 3 of them were not on the same page. It felt a bit like a bait and switch with everyone calling it a misunderstanding. So after several hours at the dealership and my fiance now in tears, we ended up purchasing a vehicle that did not match exactly what we were looking for, at a price that seemed like an OK deal at the time, but was confusing and a bit shady. The only reason we went ahead with the purchase is that I needed to get a new car by Monday so I could get to work, as the one I traded in was non-functional. Now, just 3 days after purchase (Tuesday), I went back to the dealership because the car was not driving straight. The service guys took a look at it and said it needed a wheel alignment probabaly (I wish I had noticed during the test drive). In addition, I also had to make an appointment to repair the physical damage to the car that was already on it from the lot (cracked window bezel, which was not notied until final inspection before we left). Also, since it was missing a 2nd set of keys, that had to get ordered (Saul forgot do so the day we bought the car, so he ended up ordering it on Tuesday when I went in, without even acknowleding he screwed up). So this comning Wednesday, Salazar Kia wil have my brand NEW car ALL day to accomplish repairs/service that it should NOT need and I have to take time out of my day to take care of this. I feel like I had a really bad experience and want to give the car back and get one from somewhere else with the things I wanted in it. No one really seemed sorry that my new car was screwed up day ONE and I'm not satified. I want MR. Salazar to speak to me in person and explain why my new car is not working correctly and why I paid the price of a new car for one that was damaged and needed service. I will NEVER reccomend anyone to this dealership. More

I decided to go with Salazar Kia because I thought they had great customer service. However since signing on the dotted line I believe I have made the wrong choice, I don't feel you're a “valued customer” after that signature. My first complaint is when I bought my car it was dirty, even after they claimed to spend the 2 hours cleaning it while I waited. There was sticky stuff on my seats and smug marks in many places. For a new car I did not expect this however I was in a rush so asked to have it detailed at a later date. My driver seat belt was sticking, they told me “its new, it needs to be broken in” really!? Never heard of that but agreed to drive it and see what happened. Of course on a Friday afternoon my seat belt would no longer lock, after calling Kia I was told it would be in by Tuesday morning. So my week old new car was lacking safety and they brushed it off. When Tuesday came I still heard nothing from them so I began to call the sales, I was told on 4 different occasions “the parts department is with other customers call back” after the fourth time that was annoying... why can't I leave a message and have them call me back? Finally I explained to her this was the fourth time calling and I needed to speak with someone, she took my name and number but I never heard back from them. I had to call again Thursday morning and basically tell her I was not hanging up until I spoke with someone. I spoke with the parts department and had to argue with them that I had ordered the seat belt the previous week because according to him they had no record of this!? All while being transferred back and forth between parts and service departments. Finally…. I was able to bring my car in to have the seat belt fixed and at that point yes they did get the job done in a timely manner. As for my detail I was owed, they had my car in to have a spoiler added that was part of the purchase, I was told my detail would be done at that time. I dropped my car off at 7:30 am it was suppose to be done by noon instead I got a call around 1pm that if I wanted my detail done it would be awhile longer. I agreed to this so about 3pm my car was finished I was told, When I picked my car up the spoiler was nicely done however the car was filthy..Worse condition than what I left it in. The person driving my car to service it left his trash in my side door and a quarter of a tank of gas gone, when I'm getting 31 MPG I'd like to know where this service place was!? Really Salazar Kia!? So I've had to take 2 days off work due to their "great service" Bottom line I think their service is only great until you buy; now I'm stuck with them! Ugh… never again will I buy from them nor will I recommend them to anyone! More
I have been extremely impressed with this KIA dealership. After a month long search for a car and dealing with many unpleasant dealerships adding on so many fees, going here was a pleasant relief. I went by myself and I am young and they didn't not try to overdue the price or add on a bunch of things I didn't need and even said I could drive it across town to my dad if he needed to see it. David Erickson helped me so much through the whole process! Even my parents said that because this experience was so streamlined and stress free they would visit this location again! It was really nice to feel like I had a friend helping me out! If they have the car you are looking for you will not find a better dealership or price for the car. More

We went to Salazar because we had bought a Sorento a couple years prior from a salesman we loved. So we went back for our second car to find out that he was no longer there, but for good reason on his couple years prior from a salesman we loved. So we went back for our second car to find out that he was no longer there, but for good reason on his behalf. But Bob Acord was there and remembered us and was so great to work with. He made us feel welcome and was very efficient and to the point which is what we wanted. He was very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend anyone that wants a straight and quick answer to go ask for Bob, he rocks. Thanks again, we will definitely be back next time around. More

The staff at Salazar Kia gave us the greatest car buying experience ever! We had been to about 10 dealerships before Salazar and none of them could even come close to the price and customer service that we experience ever!
