I had a horrible experience, and have told friends, family, and colleagues to stay away from Ken Ganley Volkswagen in North Olmstead. The sales woman was not prepared to sell a used Kia she was not fam family, and colleagues to stay away from Ken Ganley Volkswagen in North Olmstead. The sales woman was not prepared to sell a used Kia she was not familiar with car and logistics. She and her manager Doug screwed up on paperwork, even when I pointed out on the point of sales was written incorrectly and did not include the $12,000, plus $1000 I was putting down as cash. The kept trying to talk my into financing with them at 7.99, when I found financing for 5.94 with my credit union, which Sonja said couldn't be since she looked it up online. I have great credit and absolutely did get it at that rate! The last time I went to look at the car (third time) I was with my boyfriend and we realized that the cooling seats did not work properly on passenger side and that there also was some type of mud/cement that if scrubbed hard with my nail would come off, there were several places on back. When we asked her about them she said that's what you get buying a used car. I was confused... there's no expectation that the car would be detailed and clean?? Also, no one bothered to clean the pop up shade on the moonroof that was covered in cotton. Absolutely no sense of any kind of detail to make it look new. I was the one to ask about extended warreny and tire protection etc, these are plans I believe in and usually purchase with a car. I asked Sonja, Doug, and Loius for brochures on the warranty plans. None could be found, and also Loius never explained the different warranties and deductibles offered. I didn't even catch that until another finance guy from Hyundai was going over paper work! Why would I choose a $250 on a warranty that if I paid less than $400 more, there was 0 deductible. Make that make sense! I feel that they thought I was a dumb women and they could treat me any old way. I'm an educated teacher with a masters who is by no means dumb or who enjoys people who underestimates her intelligence. There are SO MANY things I was unhappy with, but that would be a small book to include it all. But one last screw up, Loius and Sonja did paper work that never included my $1000 down to hold the car. I was offered back to my debit, but I wanted that included to lower my monthly payment, but was told it was too late. So much more... so again I advise everyone to stay away from this specific location. I can only hope that other Ken Ganleys have much more caring and honest workers! More
