Elantra I am overall satisfied with the car we purchased. Sales staff worked with our personal needs, and I feel that they worked together to accommodate our I am overall satisfied with the car we purchased. Sales staff worked with our personal needs, and I feel that they worked together to accommodate our time constrains. My only complaint is that I do not feel that the vehicle we traded in got a fair appraisal. I researched different vehicles, and spoke with many dealerships before deciding to make our purchase at Ganley. When discussing vehicle costs over the phone with another dealership they overestimated the trade value. We did not have the trade with us while we were shopping. I did not want to be offered an unrealistic trade amount again, and anticipate the purchase price to be thousands less of dollar less that we would actually be paying because of an overestimated trade value. The normal minimum trade for any vehicle, in any condition, at any dealership is $500. I felt it would be ok to use this generic trade amount because I would feel better underestimating than overestimating. We were given a rough estimate of the total purchase price based on rebates, incentives, and the $500 generic trade value for the vehicle that still had not been seen. When we brought the trade to the dealership I do not feel that it was ever actually evaluated. I feel that the sales staff took advantage of the fact that I was playing it safe when I expressed that I would rather underestimate than be given an overestimate. We made our purchase almost one month ago. I felt, and still feel that the trade was handled very poorly. I felt, and still feel that we did not get a fair amount for the car we turned in. I felt, and still feel, that I was dismissed when I asked about the actual trade value when the trade in car was presented, and not the generic trade value that we used before the car was bought in. More
