I was scheduled for a oil change and $15,000 mi service. The service was done quickly and with great care. My system was reset so that I will go in at 22,500 miles. Finally, my car was washed. Made appointment for car maintenance 4-5 weeks in advance. Told them I would be waiting. Sign in the waiting area says fast lane oil changes, don’t waste your time. I asked on the phone when setting up my appointment if the service was free under my maintenance coverage and it was confirmed that it would be no charge. On the day of service they told me that it was going to cost $299. I declined to have the 30,000 service done, and to just have them provide an oil change with tire rotation. When I questioned why service took so long when I had a scheduled day and time, the service manager and service agent said , it is what it is. This is not the first time this has happened. It was just the first time I finally complained. I will not be using there services in the future and do not plan on buying a new vehicle from them or Hyundai in the future. I never had these or any problems from Toyota or Lexus in my over 17 years of doing business with them. Hyundai didn’t even get past the three month period. I have owned my Palisade for about a year and a half now. While the vehicle I like so far, I do not trust the dealer or the service department. I do not recommend Ken Ganley Hyundai and will probably not buy another Hyundai after this. More
