The service department managed to fine $2300 worth of “repairs” that were urgent, including items that I had personally replaced within the last 3-4 months, such as wiper blades and cabin filters. Upon getting home, I popped the hood to find that there were no fingerprints anywhere near my cabin filter housing, which makes me wonder how they possibly could have seen that it was “black and almost clogged”. I’ve also had a check engine light on for a month now that they didn’t notice, and I know for a fact they did not check my tire pressures because all four tires needed significant air when I pulled into the garage. Fortunately I know enough to not freak out and pay them to fix things that do not need replacing. More
