I've never owned a Jeep before but I always liked them. I went with my teenage son to the 2014 Detroit Auto Show and we were looking at SUV's for my significant other. The Jeep stood out for value, amenities and comfort over the BMW X5, Audi Q5, Volvo and everything else we looked at. Although we live quite a distance from Ganley Jeep in Aurora, we ventured out there on one of the worst snow days we had this year. My Escalade spun out multiple times. When I drove the Jeep Grand Cherokee under the same conditions, it was night and day.. Way better! The technology on this vehicle is unbelievable, a huge upgrade over a loaded Escalade. I can't say enough about how much safer I feel in this vehicle. As for the dealership, I can't say enough good things about them. I don't do Facebook or twitter but I wanted to at least post something about how good this place is. They bent over backwards helping us, getting the vehicles we wanted, giving us more than fair value on our trade ins, and expediting our purchase. There was no pressure just great service. I would highly recommend this dealer and particularly Chris or BJ. I cannot say enough about how positive the experience was! Of course it helps when I feel tremendous about the vehicle I purchased. Took a test drive with her and she answered all my questions and did a good job explaining all the features this new SUV has to offer and there are a lot of nice ones that’s for sure, even on the base model. When I decided to pursue the Grand Cherokee Laredo E, I met with Chris to get the deal secured. Chris was easy to work with and did a great job in meeting my request of a purchase price and trade in value. Once the deal was finalized, BJ the General Manager personally did a great job in locating the exact model I wanted, coordinated a dealer trade and delivered it in a timely manner. I went to Ganley Dodge in Aurora with my son for his first car purchase after graduating from college. We had communicated with another salesperson via email; however, that person was busy with another first car purchase after graduating from college. Chris pretty quickly recognized that, while I was there, my son was the actual customer. He conducted the conversations with my son (not me) and explained things to him as we moved through the process. He was patient and willing to explain everything to him. Chris was also more than willing to step away from his desk to allow my son and I time to debate the various topics. The price that the dealership asked for the 2014 Dart was very fair. In addition, we had a clean trade, but it was older with high mileage. I feared that they would just make us a token offer because they did not want to bother with an older trade. To my surprise, they made my son a reasonable offer for the car and we were able to strike a deal. Finally, the F&I guys were also good to deal with and were willing to explain each and every document to my son as we closed the deal. Overall, an excellent experience and we would definitely return the next time someone in the family is looking for a car. More
