Overall a great buying experience. We knew exactly what car we wanted before heading into the dealership, so the only decision was deciding on a price. I think we got a fair deal and there were no uncomfortable sales tactics. There was no pressure and the environment of the car dealership was pleasant. Mr. Colpitts was pleasant and sought to create the very best car buying experience. I have no insight into with the mechanical services at the dealership, but the sales experience was excellent. More
George Sousa of Kelly VW has asked me to write a review of my experience of leasing a 2013 Passat TDI from Kelly and particularly of my dealings with George. I am a mathematician and tend to look at any si of my experience of leasing a 2013 Passat TDI from Kelly and particularly of my dealings with George. I am a mathematician and tend to look at any situation in an analytic manner. I bought my last VW in Wisconsin, but only after calculating that the Wisconsin price, including airfare, hotels, gas, etc., was better than what I could get locally. Not withstanding this, I am the same person, who when my wife was away, went out to replace our old Passat and came back with a Porsche. This time, there was no opportunity for cool calculations. Without warning, our old Passat hesitated then stopped. When I asked the mechanic at the repair shop to which the car was towed how bad the car was, he replied: “The tail light is in pretty good condition.” The timing belt had snapped and wrecked the engine. I was not about to put a new $6,000 engine in a nine-year-old car with 240,000 miles. We called Kelly and made an appointment to look at cars and that morning we were sitting with George. I had seen billboards advertising the lease of a new Swiftmobile for only $199 per month! With this in mind, we asked George to test drive a Jetta. I should point out that the cars we drove were at different locations and it involved long drives on a very hot day to get the cars. This process took the better part of a day and went into the next day. George never tried to push us into a particular car. He was relaxed, knowledgeable, and eager to answer all our questions – both technical and financial. Neither of us liked the Jetta; it was too much of a step down.George asked if we would like to drive a diesel. I had the image of a noisy, smelly, hard-to-start car. It also came with an automatic transmission where I was looking for a standard. We next tried a regular Passat and liked it but weren’t enthralled. The CC was uncomfortable and not really a sports car. Again, George had to find the cars, get plates, etc., which he did all in the best spirit. Finally, my son in San Francisco, who loves cars and who had been on the phone with us off and on, suggested that we try the TDI. It was love at first drive. I loved the shiftable automatic transmission without a torque converter. It was roomy, good looking and came with everything German engineering could think of. True Farfegnugen! We were able to come to a price agreement quickly ($560 rather than the $199 I had started with) and the paper work was done in a very short time. It was the best car buying experience we have ever had. We love the car and would recommend Kelly and George to anyone. With thanks for asking, Alan Braver More

I had the pleasure of first meeting Steve Ashe, who took his time explaining the workings of both the Jetta and the Passat. He is very knowledgeable and makes one feel comfortable with his skills. On my second visit to the dealership, Steve was unavailable. George Sousa stepped up to the plate and answered all questions and concerns I had about purchasing/leasing a new Passat. It should be noted that George is also extremely knowledgeable and very competent as a Kelly associate. He is very patience and takes the time to answer all your questions. His follow through is commendable as you do not feel pushed into purchasing an automobile. I felt all of your associates are very kind and more than willing to help you with any questions you had even if you were not one of their clients. Kendra Milan should receive kudos also. I appreciate the time and effort everyone at Kelly VW took to make me feel welcome. I will let my friends and associates know what a wonderful experience it is to purchase a car a Kelly VW. I am the first one to admit when a place is amazing or terrible and Kelly VW has definatly made the very short amazing list. I went in after a terrible experience at Commonwealth Honda and explained tha terrible and Kelly VW has definatly made the very short amazing list. I went in after a terrible experience at Commonwealth Honda and explained that I would not purchase a car from someone like Commonwealth again and asked if they could do better. A gentleman named Said Bousbaa was the first one I talked to and he was great and followed my car buying process the whole way through (no matter how much of a needy person I was haha). Then he introduced me to Chris Listro who was my salesman. He was great also. He from the start was friendly and down to earth with my fiancé and I. He did everything in his power to get me in the car I wanted for a GREAT price and amazing timing. They even sent a man named Cody with us an hour out of the way to finalize the purchase. Tom Colpitts was the final sales man that helped us out. Because I was so anxious to leave Tom helped me go over the car and all the buttons and options that came with it while Chris was unavailable. (Totally me being inpatient and nothing to do with Chris!!!) Over all the whole team was wonderful!!! And I would be happy to send anyone I know there and I will be purchasing again!! More
