I’m the owner of a Nissan Xterra that I purchased at Kelly Nissan back in 2004. I’ve been a loyal customer always taking my car back for general maintenance/ timing belt replacement, paying a premium fo Kelly Nissan back in 2004. I’ve been a loyal customer always taking my car back for general maintenance/ timing belt replacement, paying a premium for services, spending well over $2,000 over the years for work I could have paid less for because I have always believed in getting top notch service for my car not matter how old the vehicle. I have all the receipts to prove it. During the last visit for a major issue- overheating. Kelly’s maintenance department fell flat on their faces. After a 2 hour wait they tell me to go home and that all I had to do was maintain my radiator fluid level (this is even spelled out on the service receipt!!). As I drove off the lot the car overheated again within a mile from the dealership! I promptly returned and the story suddenly changes. They would not work with me, and the service manager was condescending and tried to convince me that a minor gasket leak was the cause of the problem. Clearly they were trying to steer me toward the more expensive repair!! Needless to say it was misdiagnosed at Kelly Nissan and fixed it at what I imagine would be a fraction of the price Kelly Nissan would charge! More
We went in for an oil change on our '07 XTerra and left with and left with a new XTerra!!! He made us an offer we couldn't refuse (in the nicest way!!!) and we decided to turn around after we drove a couple of miles away and kept saying we should go back and see what he is really talking about. We did, and he went the extra mile in every way from purchasing back the '07 to giving us the best possible deal to that would work for us as far as payments and everything else. We appreciate everyone at Kelly that we have been dealing with for the past few years - from service dept - to the sales - to the guys who did the detailing on the new X before we drove off the lot. Will never go to another Nissan dealer as long as Kelly is there for us. If you deal with Bill Pallo, John Lim, and John Arena, we can tell you that you will not be sorry....you will be well taken care of and pleasantly surprised by their down-to-earth approach, sense of humor and yet their professional manner of dealing with you. Every time I bring my Nissan Sentra back to Kelly, Leo is there to greet me! He is a genuinely nice Kelly salesman who makes the customer feel comfortable, without being pushy (unlike employees at other deal there to greet me! The service department was horrible I went to get my car fixed and two days later another problem occurred and they stated that it was "over looked" when apparently they do a multipoint inspection and check fixed and two days later another problem occurred and they stated that it was "over looked" when apparently they do a multipoint inspection and check marked the part that went bad was good and didnt need repair. They did not offer a discount, apologize or anything for the inconvenience they have caused me, in driving back to the dealership. They came out with another bill totaling over $200. I was not happy and the service manager said he would call me back after the weekend to discuss the situation, and I did not hear a thing from him or the dealership. I will no longer do business with them. More

My husband and I were traveling from Long Island, New York with 2 kids to Hershey, PA when our Nissan Murano truck broke down on Interstate 78 W. The truck just broke down and wouldn’t drive. We had to push the truck to the side of the highway and wait for AAA to give us a tow. The whole ordeal of being broke down with kids in the car in another state and waiting for a tow truck to rescue us was very nerve racking to say the least but after about an hour and a half we were towed to Kelly Nissan Dealership. We arrived at your dealership stressed, confused, nervous, and in a panic about what to do next because our vacation plans were just halted, our truck was dead and we had no idea where in PA we were….then we met Ashley Fulmer, Service Advisor. Let me tell you about Ashley and your staff at Nissan. WONDERFUL!!! I explained our dilemma to Ashley and she immediately took down all of my information and had our Nissan Murano taken in to be diagnosed. We were ushered to the waiting area to have cold drinks and coffee. Our kids were given crayons and books to color with. Ashley was sympathetic and understanding of our situation and kept us advised of the status of our truck. Less than a half hour later we were informed that our truck needed a part that was not available until the next day so we would have to leave the car overnight. Ashley called Enterprise Car Rental and arranged to have a rental car for us so that we could continue on our journey. We received a rental car and we were on our way. The next day we were informed by Ashley that our transmission needed to be replaced so we had to leave the car for 3 days but we kept the rental car, went home to NY and came back to PA 3 days later to pick up the truck. In the meantime Ashley kept us informed of the status of our car. We had a recall that was taken care of as well that I was not even aware of until Ashley informed us. Page 2of2 This experience was nerve wracking but having to have had the pleasure to break down 10 miles from your dealership made it alright!! Ashley and your staff are outstanding, pleasant and professional people. I am taking the time out of my busy life to write to you about them because they are truly special and I want them to be recognized for their “outstanding customer service”. Every single person we came in contact with at your dealership and spoke to on the phone was courteous and helpful. You have an amazing Service Department at your dealership!!! From the moment we walked into your service department the customer service was 100% exceptional. I find that people always take the time to write or call with complaints and not enough people take the time to say something nice. It is with great pleasure that I write this letter. I hope you realize how valuable and dedicated your service staff is. I am requesting that you personally see to it that Ashley Fulmer is recognized in the most positive and valuable way! She truly deserves it!!! Please thank her on my behalf for her great customer service and kind treatment to our family. Same as any shifty dealer. They're happy to take your money when you buy a car. When you need service they will rip you off with gotcha pricing. I took my wife's 2011 Versa there for it's 15K service whi money when you buy a car. When you need service they will rip you off with gotcha pricing. I took my wife's 2011 Versa there for it's 15K service which was supposed to be $191. I also needed an error code reset for the airbag system. My bill was over $300!!! I inspected the invoice and found that they charged $95 to reset the error code! Not bad for 10 minutes work. I know that's how long it took because I watched the service tech hook up the machine and stare at it for 5 minutes. That comes to $380/hr! I don't think I'll be going back for ANY service unless I can absolutely sure it's covered under warranty. I have every intention to make sure that the next $300 worth of service I need will be coming from some other place. More
I liked the courtesy that I received when I walked into the maintenance area. I was treated like a human being and not a number. The waiting area is very clean and user friendly. So I Bought a used vehicle from this dealership about 2 months ago thinking that they were legit. I had a problem with my car not driving right the other day so I got it towed back to the dealership to se months ago thinking that they were legit. I had a problem with my car not driving right the other day so I got it towed back to the dealership to see what the problem was, since it was still under warranty. They ended up sending it to audi since that was the make of the car, two days later it was back and we found out it was a recall problem. Now when I left the car it had 1/2 tank of gas, 43,059 miles on it, when I got the car back it had 43,127 miles on it and a quarter of a tank, the interior wasn't even cleaned nor the exterior washed. When asked about why neither or was done, the guy says nissan doesn't clean cars that are not their brand, they forgot to wash it, and as far as the gas they were doing me a favor by driving my car that (I had TOWED there) to audi and basically said it is what it is. IF YOU CAN'T GIVE GOOD SERVICE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS DON'T OFFER USED VEHICLES AND THEN TRY TO GET YOU TO BUY SERVICES PLANS FROM YOU. After you buy the plan they will just send it to that dealer and take no responsibility for anything because its not a nissan. which was crazy because after this problem I was going to purchase their service plan because my warranty is going to end soon, Good luck getting any kind of service if you buy a used vehicle from this dealership, they don't even throw in paper floor mats. Pathetic Service!!! More
Karen greeted me in the parking lot as I was looking for a used pickup. She asked what I needed in the truck which, I then told her a crew cab, 4 wheel drive, automatic and 6 cyl. She said I have one on the lot and said she would bring it up for me. When she brougt it up we toke it for a drive and had mention she thought that there was possibly another on the lot which turned out to be a extended cab and I needed the crew cab because of my grandchildren. She did explain the features of the truck which had everything that I needed. Karen had asked if I wanted to put a deposit on the truck to hold it until I could bring my wie to see it, which we did the next day. Karen was very knowlegable of the product and was very helpful through the whole process. We did purchase the truck this evening (11/30/10).
