In addition, the service is quick and the waiting area is clean, comfortable and not claustrophobic; there is also small play room if I have to bring one of the little ones. I also recently purchased a complete roof rack (rails and cross bars) for my 2014 Pilot. With an online coupon I spent no more than the same items would have cost on Amazon (and every other website I checked); they were in within 24hrs, and I didn't have to pay for shipping (making the purchase actually about $40 less expensive that ordering online). Frustrating After multiple instances of Kelly Honda employees finding big ticket items wrong with my car when I take it in for routine maintenance, I have to conc After multiple instances of Kelly Honda employees finding big ticket items wrong with my car when I take it in for routine maintenance, I have to conclude that this dealership is not safe for me to return to. I think they see dollar signs all over my forehead when I walk through the door. On December 29th, when I got an oil change and some electrical work done, I was told that my tie rods would have to be replaced "pretty soon" -- but Justin assured me that it was not an emergency. "When you can get to it," is what he said. Funny that when I brought my car back in less than a month later (two weeks of that month I was on vacation and out of town, therefore not driving the car) for an Emissions Sticker, I was told that I wouldn't pass inspection without having my tie rods fixed. Now, wouldn't Justin have TOLD me that at the end of December? "I would recommend getting these done as soon as you can since you won't pass inspection without it." To me, this is what a reliable, knowledgeable repair team does. I suspect my car would have passed inspection somewhere else. In taking apart my car, mechanics (I worked with Kenny) found rusted bolts and things that needed to be replaced. And the alignment needed to be done. Okay, fair enough. I have a 2002 CR-V - it's an old car. My major complaint is the way I was not communicated with throughout this process of stacking repair upon repair. Kenny would call me and leave a message and even though I promptly returned his calls, he would suddenly not be available for hours. One ENTIRE DAY went by without a return call -- his excuse being that the receptionist "wrote down the wrong number." How ridiculous: I've been in the Kelly Honda system for years. Press a button and look it up. Also, if you can text me accurately, you have my correct number. I was given a loaner car, which I'm sure the dealership thinks is a great benefit. It is if you're getting your car back in a reasonable amount of time, sure. But every day that I'm driving a loaner I am at risk to accrue a liability. And since I had a little Civic during a snowfall (thanks for not thinking to put a snow brush in the trunk, guys), I was at even more risk to get dinged than usual. In the end, I went in for an emissions sticker on a Thursday evening and got my car back SIX DAYS LATER with an $800 bill. It would have been higher but since I had told Ariel that $800 was my maximum budget and he agreed that they would "take care of me" in a verbal agreement, they kept my bill to $800. I do appreciate that. I do not appreciate having to fight for it. My problem with Kelly is that this ALWAYS HAPPENS. I go in with an issue, it balloons into a huge repair bill, and I get my car way, way, way later than it is promised. I think this dealership is making money hand over fist on idiots like me who keep going in and thinking that Kelly Honda cares about anything but hitting me up for maximum repair bills every time I stop in. Everyone there is smilingly polite but they know the bottom line. Happens every time. More
