They offered a shuttle service to have me dropped off at my house then picked up when my car was ready. After an hour and a half of waiting for the shuttle, the service advisor told me that they were pulling the car in to get worked on and it would take roughly 2-3 hours and I wouldn’t be able to get a ride back from my house. No empathy from him and no worries about me wasting my time. Save yourself the trouble and choose another dealership. More

Overcharge by $2000! If I could give the service department negative stars I would. My girlfriend brought her Honda Pilot in for an oil change and a repair due to recall. If I could give the service department negative stars I would. My girlfriend brought her Honda Pilot in for an oil change and a repair due to recall. Robert, the technician, called with unfortunate news later that day: $3100 worth of necessary repairs, a new timing belt and "metal on metal" brakes that required new pads and rotors on all four wheels. We thought, "that's weird because the brakes worked fine and we hadn't heard any squeaking." When pressed a little, Robert offered that her brake pads were down to 15% and 5%. We called various local garages and found Robert's quote for the timing belt was $600-800 over the next highest option option, and we decided to do the brakes ourselves. I found over 50% left on 6 of 8 brake pads, maybe 30% on the lowest set (and still months away from needing to be replaced), and all the rotors were fine. To make matters worse, they botched the simple job they did perform - the oil was low and the cap was bouncing around loose under the hood. All told we saved $2000 from Robert's quote, enough to fly to Hawaii or pay for 16 years of Netflix!!. I don't want to ascribe duplicitous motives to Kelly Honda, but unless Robert is the worst mechanic I've ever met, he lied about the brake pads, using scary "metal on metal" language, to try to trick someone into making a poor decision. I assume that most people that take their car to a dealership for service are happy to pay a premium for the peace of mind of knowing a Honda trained mechanic is working on their car. I don't know why Kelly Honda and Robert felt the need to take advantage of that willingness to spend more, but we will be taking our business elsewhere. More

Service A part broken off the shift in my 1 year old car, therefore causing my keys to be stuck in the ignition. I called the dealer and they told me to have A part broken off the shift in my 1 year old car, therefore causing my keys to be stuck in the ignition. I called the dealer and they told me to have Honda road services tow it to them, which I did. I called the next day to check on the car and they didn’t even know it was there. That is an issue that needs to be addressed between the tow people and Honda, so that was almost 2 days wasted. They said the part would be in Saturday and they would call, which they didn’t. When I called on Monday, they didn’t get back to me for a few hours so I couldn’t get a ride at that time, so my car was in the shop for a total of 6 days. When I went to pick up the car, they charged me, which they shouldn’t have. The service guy took care of it. Then when I went to leave, the hood was not locked down and I had to get someone to come out and fix it. Last, there was a light on , I think the tire pressure light, which I’m sure whoever fixed it could clearly see and they didn’t bother to deal with that issue. Would have it been that hard to check it and put air in the tires??? Not happy that I’m dealing with all this with a one year old car. More
