The buying experience at Kelly Honda At Lynn,MA was a very pleasant experience. We did not experience the usual "sales pressure" we had before in other dealerships.Edward, the salesman and Jerry, the man very pleasant experience. found a car on their internet 2009 Honda CRV EXL - Tango Red, beautiful car so my husband and I went to the dealership to see it. We met salesman - David Pereira - very knowledgeable and patient and a credi Red, beautiful car so my husband and I went to the dealership to see it. We met salesman - David Pereira - very knowledgeable and patient and a credit to Kelly Honda - took the car for a quick spin - loved it and my husband and I sat with David and drew up the paperwork - the original trade in offer I received - I felt was too low - and we negotiated more for my Toyota. Met with Boule re: financing the car. He gave us all the options and we decided to finance through Honda - He too was very patient and made sure we understood the contract prior to signing. We left that night feeling that Kelly Honda was a great dealership and the people were outstanding. We went back to the dealership the next night to pick up the car and thats when things started to go bad. When I walked around the car I noticed MANY scratches where paint had chipped off - I had walked around the car several times the day before and never saw these - When we brought it to David's attention he immediately brought out Jerry who listened to our concerns, initially tried to convince me that the scratches were there all along and that when they buffed the car that morning it took the surface dirt off and brought out the scratches. After much discussion he went inside and came back out with an offer of 100.00 and we could get the work done ourselves. By this time I wanted to cancel the contract - I was unhappy with their attitude and their resolution. He went and got Dennis - Sales Manager who proceeded to convince me, in a very arrogant manner, that the scratches had been there all along and what could they do to make me happy. After some very heated words between us, I asked David to cancel the contract, return my Toyota to me and that I was totally mistaken about this dealership caring about people. Dennis kept communicating to us that the dealership only wanted to do everything possible to make the customer happy and was trying to keep the lines of communication open so that we could resolve this issue. He did offer several ideas that would benefit us in the end and as we listened to him, we did realize that customer satisfaction was important to him. He told us the dealership would touch up the car, buff it out best they could and asked what else we wanted. My husband wanted a lojack system installed because there was no security system in the car - although the write up on line said it had a navigational system. Dennis approved installating of the Lo Jack system free of charge and a cash settlement of the difference.I can honestly say by the time we left the dealership - everyone there went out of their way to make sure we were happy - especially Dennis and David. Dennis's resolution to the problem showed a side of him that I hadnt originally seen. He really does represent Kelly's emphasis on customer satisfaction and my husband and I appreciated his efforts and resolutions. We have subsequently recommended David Periera and Kelly Honda to several other people and will continue to do so. More
I had the pleasure of dealing with Don and Dennis when I I had the pleasure of dealing with Don and Dennis when I came in to discuss the possibility of purchasing a honda crv. I found Don very helpful and I had the pleasure of dealing with Don and Dennis when I came in to discuss the possibility of purchasing a honda crv. I found Don very helpful and sincere. Dennis was extremely professional and put up with my and my husbands demands! We got a great tradein value for my Mazda Tribute ( higher than blue book) and a very fair discount on my Honda crv exl! I have returned with not 1 but 2 friends who had a similiar experience. The sales man for those 2 sales was Joe Richard, who was also very knowledgeable and a complete gentleman! Both friends, with my help got great deals! 1 on a honda fit and the other on a Honda crv Lx. There service department is also very helpful and knowledgeable! I have 2 Honda dealers closer than Lynn but go out of my way because of the level of comfort I have at this dealership! I would highly recomend this dealer to anyone in the market for a new or used car! More

We were greeted by John who brought us in to the showroom and sat us down at his desk and asked some questions on what we be using the Car for and what our price expectations were and what features were important to us. He btought down a 2008 Toyota Rav 4 with only 8,000 miles on it and we fell in love with it. John made everything so easy for us and Boolis in the finace office helped us complete all the paperwork and we were in and out in no time. John was a real person who was honest, polite and courteous to us and made this buying experience fun . John did what all good salespeople do and that is make my day. More
With my old car, the dealership (which was not convenient to where I lived or worked) did oil changes by appointment only. It became such a pain in the ass that I started going to a local Valvoline instead ( to where I lived or worked) did oil changes by appointment only. It became such a pain in the ass that I started going to a local Valvoline instead (the one on Western Ave in Lynn: they're great). So when my new car needed an oil change, I called Kelly Honda to make an appointment. But they said don't bother: just bring it in when it's good for you. Which I did. They took the car right away, and I had it back in about 15 minutes. Then they told me that the first oil change is on the house. Daddy likey! Later came the recall notice in the mail. Evidently, some wire that runs from the electric motor behind the rear seat to the gas motor up front had some risk of catching fire if a lot of weight was placed on it. Well, I seldom have rear seat passengers, so I wasn't too concerned. I intended to take care of it, but I wasn't in a rush. Weeks went by, and I still hadn't done it. So the dealership called me to make an appointment (and by doing so earned *major* points with this procrastinator!). I thanked them for proactively calling me and made the appointment. Then, the morning of the appointment, something came up, and I realized I wouldn't make it in time. So I called the service department to reschedule. Again, they said, don't sweat it. Bring it in today when you can. Which I did. They told me to expect it to take an hour or so, and that's about how long it took. Obviously, since it was a recall, there was no charge. Anyway, when I bought my Saturn, I didn't factor in the importance of the dealership's service department. When that car shat the bed, and I needed to get another car quickly, I went to Kelly Honda because 1.) I knew I wanted a Civic Hybrid, and 2.) frankly, Kelly Honda is just a few minutes from where I live. So even though my experience with Kelly Honda's service department has been limited, they have far and away exceeded my expectations. They have been flexible, efficient, and considerate. And that, in turn, has made the car ownership experience that much better. More
I went to Kelly after a horrible experience at Honda Gallery. Not only did Kelly give me more for my trade, I got an extremely beautiful car for a great deal. Dennis and Michael were extremely profess Gallery. Not only did Kelly give me more for my trade, I got an extremely beautiful car for a great deal. Dennis and Michael were extremely professional, quick and efficient. I had done my homework and knew what I wanted and they made it happen. I had my own financing, but Boolis was extremely knowledeable, professional and efficient. He got me a better rate and I was approved in minutes. I left the dealership extremely happy and I can guarantee that Kelly now has a customer for life. More
I have now bought two cars from Kelly Honda (2004 and 2010). Great overall experience and knowable sales staff both times. One both occasions price was lower than other Honda dealerships. The only issue 2010). Great overall experience and knowable sales staff both times. One both occasions price was lower than other Honda dealerships. The only issue I had is I had to wait a long time for the business manager for financing. Kelly Honda offered me two free oil changes for my wait. A+ More
What can I say, this was the most bizzare and insulting experience I have ever experienced. Don Williams, the salesman my mom and I were speaking with, was fantastic. Everything went well with him, he wa experience I have ever experienced. Don Williams, the salesman my mom and I were speaking with, was fantastic. Everything went well with him, he was very personalable and easy going. I recommend everyone to who is going to purchase a Honda at Kelly to see Don Williams, great guy to speak with. The problem lies with Dennis Card, the most insulting and arrogant Sales Manager I have encountered. He talked down to my mom, who was purchasing the vehicle, as though she had never purchased a vehicle. He was very rude, I would never do business with him again. I think he was promoted to the Manager's role a little prematurely. Other than Dennis Card, I have no complaints with the initial service I had with Don Williams. Although my sales experience has been poor, for the second time, with Kelly Honda, I hope that things improve in terms of customer service and Dennis Card's arrogance. I put NO in the would you recommend this dealership only because there was no "maybe" option. More
I went to look for a Honda Accord last year. The sales person lied to me about the mileage of the car. He told me way too high number as compared to what a Honda can give. Then he told the car comes with person lied to me about the mileage of the car. He told me way too high number as compared to what a Honda can give. Then he told the car comes with a vallet key. When the car keys were finally handed over to me, he apologized and said that the key doesn't come with that model of the car and that he didn't know.(I recently found out that the car I bought does come with a valley key). I noticed some scratch marks on the dashboard to which the sales man told that I could buy not-so-expensive scratch paint from Walmart and they would reimburse. I was never paid back inspite of calling them twice after sending the receipt. The GM promised me to give high refferal bonus to my friends if they buy the car from them and he said that he'd mail it to me in writing which I never received. Overall, it was a bad bad experience at Kelly Hona. I would not recommend it to anyone.? More
They were friendly but didn't seem to have a clue what was going on. I told them on the phone it was for a recall, and when I got there they ask what recall it was. My car only had one recall, they can' was going on. I told them on the phone it was for a recall, and when I got there they ask what recall it was. My car only had one recall, they can't even tell by the car model and year what recall it was? I also asked them to look at the radio as it was an issue I've seen posted on the web. They told me there was nothing they could do. It wasn't until I called Honda USA HQ, that I found out that they extended the waranty of the radio to 7years/100k miles. More
