We purchased a brand new chevy van in 2008 and this dealership sold us this van with a slow leak. In a week we were back with a tire light on. They claim it was a sensor and changed it. They never l dealership sold us this van with a slow leak. In a week we were back with a tire light on. They claim it was a sensor and changed it. They never looked at the tire. This went on for months--then we went to another dealership and they found a small metal stud in the tire. Kelle service department does not know what they are doing. Then we were planning a trip to Georgia and had the oil changed at Kelle and they did not replace the rubber ring after they changed the oil and we leaked oil all the way to Georgia and another chevy dealership had to replace the rubber ring. Kelle svc dept cant even change oil, now the abs light is on and the brakes are acking up--chevy's main customer svc said we have to bring it to the dealership to find out what is wrong and we are scared xxxxless what Kelle svc dept. is going to do. Please God Help Us. More
Never heard of any garage taking 42 hours to do a front end alignment and change a catalytic convertor. Never dealt with a shop that lies to the customer over and over. Best of all, getting my vehicle ba end alignment and change a catalytic convertor. Never dealt with a shop that lies to the customer over and over. Best of all, getting my vehicle back with no gas left in it, low fuel light on. Thanks Kelle! More
I brought my truck in for a recall and additional service. The recall was for a brake switch which may cause the brake light(s) to fail. Well, they changed the switch, but never checked the lights, service. The recall was for a brake switch which may cause the brake light(s) to fail. Well, they changed the switch, but never checked the lights, so they never changed the light bulb that was out. Duh! How do they know the original fix worked? Now it's a service charge! A second, unrelated problem was a check engine warning. I have my own diagnostic tool which gave a P1133 failure - Heated Oxygen Sensor. I told them what the code was, but they had to check it themselves for $90.00 after which they could not find a problem, so they reset the computer. Fifteen minutes after I left the light was back on and I get the same problem whenever the temperature is below about 60 degrees. More
The present purchase's my family has done in the last month was a result of the addition of Mr. John Van Brunt and Mr Bruce. Mr Van Brunt my family is familiar with from past vehicle purchaces's at the F month was a result of the addition of Mr. John Van Brunt and Mr Bruce. Mr Van Brunt my family is familiar with from past vehicle purchaces's at the Freehold Buick GMC Dealership he was with in Freehold prior to moving to Kelle Chevy. My father had a great relationship with Bruce that came on board from The Manahawkin Dealership on RTE 72. Mr. Van Brunts strong leadership skills will make Kelle Chevy much better. He has great people skills which made it easy to deal with him in the past and now the future. I am happy to say i have dealt with Kelle chevy in the past and was burned once and moved onto Pinebelt but now that these two great additions i am going to return to Kelle Chevy for all my vehicle needs. My father has purchased several vehicle's from the Kelle Chevy. Its also nice that its a small dealership that Mr. Bill Johnson (Owner) can even personally come out and shake hands with us when we do business. That is what I feel makes it a great Dealership. Mr. Johnson coming out and just to even say hello makes me thankful I came back. As a past mechanic and new vehicle prep for Kelle Chevy at the old location on Main Street in Farmingdale, NJ it was a delight to work for back then Mr. Tucker Nicol and Mr. Bill Johnson. More
I've bought two vehicles through Bob and have always had a good experience. I swore 20 years ago after buying a 1981 Chevy Citation, that I would never buy another GM vehicle. And I lasted for 21 years unti a good experience. I swore 20 years ago after buying a 1981 Chevy Citation, that I would never buy another GM vehicle. And I lasted for 21 years until 2002. But, thanks to Bob and the service department, I now own two Chevy's. This is a small town dealership with sales people who do NOT play games typical at the larger dealers. Nobody ever pushes "special financing" or extended warranties or dealer prep or any of the other scams. I've always been treated with respect and honesty, plus I've gotten great deals on vehicles there. More
