Great doing business with! My experience with Keith Hawthorne was great. Came in for an oil change for my 2015 Sonata and wound up leaving in a brand new 2017 Sonata! I wasn't planning on buying a new car but with a quick conversation with Darrell Edwards, he convinced me that I could indeed and for the same payment. Love my car!!! Also wanted to brag about their service department. Great and friendly people! Always a pleasure dealing with them. More

I ended up getting a brand new car that I LOVE and can afford. He even took the time to make sure I knew how everything worked and was set up properly as far as connecting the blue tooth with my phone, etc. I highly recommend Jerome McClendon. It was worth the hour drive to get there. More

Their pricing could not be beat-and I looked all across NC! Once we arrived at the dealership, we were greeted warmly and were offered to drive the car immediately. After test driving, our family only had to wait minutes before meeting with the Finance Dept. and signing all the paperwork. Easy, professional and pleasant! So worth the drive from Raleigh to Gastonia for a wonderful car purchase! More

Dishonest and Disreputable We had been searching for a Sonata Ultimate Package. I knew what I want and the price I wanted, and was willing to travel to get it. I contacted mul We had been searching for a Sonata Ultimate Package. I knew what I want and the price I wanted, and was willing to travel to get it. I contacted multiple Hyundai dealers in NC with this vehicle available. I have the text messages of the conversation between myself and sales associated. We agreed on $27,500 "out the door today", and I started my 2.5 hour drive to Gastonia from Cary. The problems started when I walked into the finance office...they were starting at over $29,000 on the paperwork they were trying to get me to quickly sign. When I explained "27,500 out the door", they walked out and spent 30 minutes in protracted conversations...then they came back with paperwork for $28,000. I showed them the texts where we agreed on $27,500. They walked out again for more protracted hand wringing. Finally the general sales manager came in and said "can't do that price". I showed him the text where he had agreed to that price...they refused to budge. We had a rather nasty exchange in the middle of the sales floor and walked out. I don't do business with Dishonest and Disreputable people. On the way home, I contacted another Hyundai dealer that was willing to meet the same price. My wife wanted red, and they didn't have on the lot, so they had to have it brought in from another dealer (this transfer cost me $250). So the next day, we bought the SAME CAR that Hawthorne had on the lot for $27,750 (out the door) (my wife's phone was still paired to the audio system). I would be happy to upload screenshots of the agreed price to back this story up. More

We were left on our own the first time or two we were there(this was a positive, for we wanted to familiarize with the basic options before getting bombarded with sales staff). On our third trip there, we made eye contact with the sales staff and got involved with Brian. Brian was an ideal rep for us. He spent all the time in the world with us. He was not pushy in the least. He answered all questions that he could and those few that he couldn't, he left us, sought out the answer and came right back with the answer. Brian acted as the middleman between us and the sales manager. We did not have to deal -face to face- with anyone else but Brian. It was a totally pressure-free experience with the financial end resulting in a reasonable bottom line. More
