I brought my Jeep into Keffer for repairs and $6,000 later my Jeep came out worse than when I took it to them. My husband and I brought our 2016 Jeep to Keffer for a torque converter issue. We knew o later my Jeep came out worse than when I took it to them. My husband and I brought our 2016 Jeep to Keffer for a torque converter issue. We knew our Jeep had a warranty and so we wanted to bring it to a dealership to get, what we thought would be, excellent service. The maintenance department ended up replacing my entire transmission, and it appeared, and I was told, that the warranty covered all of it except for my deposit. They also, without asking me, replaced the front ball joints. Which my warranty also covered. Fast forward to about 20 miles later. I was heading down the highway going around 75 mph and there was an audible and physical vibration in the front drivetrain of my Jeep that was not there before I took my Jeep to Keffer. Fast forward about 300 miles to see family for Thanksgiving and we park the car, and lo and behold there's a leak. My husband climbed under there and it was oil and transmission fluid. So as soon as we got back into town we took the Jeep back to keffer and noted not only the leak underneath but also the vibration in the front drive shaft. I get a call back the next day from the tech saying that the transmission lines are leaking, which is a common issue, I was told, when you change out the transmission. They called the warranty company and at that time the first warranty had expired and we only now have a powertrain warranty. So the warranty company has not going to cover the transmission line. The tech even called me and asked if I would call a warranty company and plead with them. To which I did, two times. I then asked if they drove my Jeep to see if they could replicate the audible noise and the vibration in the front drivetrain, to which the tech told me yes. And then he rattled off several front drive train parts that also needed to be replaced. I told them that in regards to the transmission lines, I brought them a non-leaking transmission that only needed a new torque converter. They decided to get the warranty company to replace the entire transmission, and they replaced it, so if it's leaking now and it wasn't before, I thought that they should make it right by replacing that line. I was denied this part not only by the tech, but by the manager Jurgos. I then asked to speak with the manager, and he and I spoke for several minutes about why I thought they should be responsible for what they broke, and he said that he would look into the conversations that I had with the tech and listen to the recordings and get back to me the next day. He never got back to me. I gave him 3 days. I went to pick up my Jeep a couple days later, and refused to sign the paperwork that said, I denied the service. In regards to them having tests driven my vehicle, that was a lie. The mileage at which I dropped my vehicle off was exactly the same as when I picked it up. I have photo evidence of that. So I came in with a warranty, and they saw me as a cash cow. I don't know if they treated me this way because I was a woman without her husband there, or they treated me this way because they have no integrity. I think it's probably a little bit of both. But they charged $4,000 in labor alone for the transmission replacement. And $800 per ball joint for the front end. But they were going to make a big stink about $180 part to make it right. I wasn't even asking them to fix the front drive train. My jeep now leaks, and vibrates over 75Mph, both of which it didn't do before I brought it to them. Do not take your vehicle to them. More

On June 24, 2023 i brought my '22 JGC in for a recall and inspection inspection. It failed. Jorge called me back immediately with the results. The dealership refused a loaner car or a rental. They just sent inspection inspection. It failed. Jorge called me back immediately with the results. The dealership refused a loaner car or a rental. They just sent me on my way with no car and a part that was on "back order" (potentially until September) and a car parked on their lot that was un drives le. There was no update on when the vehicle would be ready unless I made an inquiry. Finally after $1096 in rental fees I decided to stop at the dealership for an update. When I spoke to the technician on duty they miraculously informed me that the part was in and they would have it fixed on Monday July 17th. Based on the lack of communication, resolution on the repair or a vehicle to use in the meantime I called Monday since I needed to arrange a ride and wanted to verify it was done. Surprised to find out the car was NOT even looked at. All they had to do was supply me a car while my car was in their shop. They could have kept mine until whenever. I should have known how they operate based on my attempt to purchase from this dealer. Avoid at all costs. More
This was the absolute worst experience! I WILL NEVER BE RETURNING TO / OR RECOMMENDING “KEFFLER CHRYSER JEEP AND RAM - 8214 EAST INDEPENDENCE BLVD CHARLOTTE NC 28277“ !!!!! It didn I WILL NEVER BE RETURNING TO / OR RECOMMENDING “KEFFLER CHRYSER JEEP AND RAM - 8214 EAST INDEPENDENCE BLVD CHARLOTTE NC 28277“ !!!!! It didn’t surprise me to see more Bad Reviews of this establishment as I did further research on their website. I brought my Jeep Wrangler in for service due to a VERLY LOUD AND DISTINCTIVE Clicking noise coming from under my Hood. I was going on Vacation and brought my Truck in 3 days early so they wouldn’t feel rushed to do their job. My service Advisor Robert Bruce Assured me that my vehicle was in good hands, and they would do everything they could to make sure my service was pleasant before I left for vacation. Robert Bruce my service advisor messaged me and shared that they found the issue with the vehicle and they could fix it. Me being “Mechanically unknowing” I figured that they heard the very loud clicking noise in the car. I respected their expertise as “certified technicians” and told them to move forward with the work . I came to pick up my Jeep and PAID the $350.00 and thought my problem resolved. It was very disappointing to see that the work I asked to be done was not completed. The moment I Started my Jeep, THE SAME LOUD clicking noise started back up. I asked My service Advisor Robert Bruce to come ride with me to verify the noise I was hearing. ( IT WAS VERY CLEAR MY CAR WAS NOT DRIVEN BY THEIR TEAM TO DETERMINE THE PROBLEM BUT THEY INSTEAD PRE-DIAGNOSED BY THE DESCRIPTION OF A CLICKING NOISE I GAVE THEM) . The Service Manager did verify the noise I was hearing. Robert charged me for work that I did not ask to be fixed. At that moment, Robert shared that they tighten a “Cotter Pin and Ball Joint”, which is essentially connected to my tire which was NOT THE REASON I CAME FOR SERVICE. So my Jeep is NOW being kept for a longer period, which was unfortunate and inconsiderate of my time because Robert Knew I had a Vacation I was leaving for on the next day. No resolution was offered, didn’t ask if I needed a rental car for the trouble. I then call Service Manager Yeorgios Mavromatis to share my concerns. Yeorgris showed no concern or lack of effort to help resolve the issues. He told me he would call me back with an update, He never called back. Days later as I return from vacation Robert Bruce My service advisor Shares that they located the sound and do to the accessories added to the JEEP there was “NOTHING they can do to fix the noise in my Jeep” he also shared that the noise was causing no Safety issue to my car which would not need payment and nothing needed to be fixed”. After returning for a final time to pick up my Jeep I sit down with Service Manager Yeorgios Mavromatis to discusses my dissatisfaction with my service and how I felt “bamboozled, Robbed and Unjustly served”. With no empathetical concern Yeorgios makes a statement “The noise you were hearing was normal, we went for the un-normal sound”. I told Yeorgios that my concern was not in my tire, and I never heard a sound coming from my tire, my concern was the ticking in the hood that the techs ignored, and fixed whatever issues they wanted too and charged me for a service I did not ask for. It was clear Yeorgios was lying because if the techs did hear 2 sounds coming from the car, then why not tell the customer the findings and let them know there is 2 distinctive noises and get a confirmation on which noise is concerning to the customer? Robert and Yeorgios lack concern and compassion for the customers who actually come to Keffler for help, not to be robbed because they are not Mechanically savvy. AS I AM SURE KEFFLER WILL RESPOND WITH THEIR SAME GENERATED RESPONSE : “We appreciate you sharing this feedback and sincerely apologize for your frustration. Our goal is to always communicate with the customer and we are disappointed to have given you a negative experience. Sure they respond to all reviews, but they fail to keep the same More
