Friendly people and Nice Environment Everyone at this dealership is friendly and helpful. The waiting area is nice. Makes waiting less painful. The manager ta On May 30th I bought a Ford Fusion (used) that I felt I was pressured into buying. I went to the dealership with a pre approved loan. The manager talked to my loan agent prior to my arrival. Explained to him my max. Pre approved loan amt. I felt he was putting me in a car above the approved amount. So, during the buying process I kept questioning the amount so we would not go over loan approved amt. I used my vehicle as a trade in. The loan was not approved because the purchase price went over the approved loan amt. The dealership repossed the vehicle with no warning. They Never paid off my other vehicle they bought from me. I have a 13K outstanding car loan that I don't have the vehicle to and they have the vehicle I used as a trade in on their used car lot with no pink slip to sell it or ownership to sell it. I have no vehicle now and have had to hire an attorney. Don't buy from Pearson Ford and Kia. More
Very poor, we won't be back. I began calling around 2pm. It took 4 calls to finally speak with Nick around 5pm, our service agent. When I asked for the results of the diagnostic test, Nick reluctantly admitted nothing had been done. We decided to pick up the car that night so we went through the trouble to make an appt, drop the car, uber home, go without a car for the day, make calls to even see what the results were and then they did nothing to it. Why make an appointment if the car is going to just sit there all day? We will NOT be back. More
Notice My family has had to bring back a vehicle multiple times for a variety of things. The fixed op. director took notice and has been helpful. My family has had to bring back a vehicle multiple times for a variety of things. The fixed op. director took notice and has been helpful. More
New 2018 Fiesta Went to KPF because it had better reviews than other Ford dealers in the area. Sales were typical and I have no real complaints there. I get my car ho Went to KPF because it had better reviews than other Ford dealers in the area. Sales were typical and I have no real complaints there. I get my car home only to find that my New 2018 Fiesta has paint damage on the rear hatchback door. I take it in to have it inspected and they submit to Ford for authorization. Ford agrees to make the repair and that it was, in fact, a factory paint defect. Fast forward a month and my car has been in 2-3 times for the same repair. The paint is still messy and has a bubble in it. They want me to bring it back in again. 30 miles one way, an hour of driving or more if there is traffic and multiple days I've had to take off of work. Any money I saved by going to this dealership has been lost. Huge inconvenience, don't waste your time, I wouldn't go back. More
Just don’t lie to me I bought a 2018 Ford Fiesta as a commuter car because gas prices are killing me. I traded in my Cadillac, which I took very good care of, and the sale I bought a 2018 Ford Fiesta as a commuter car because gas prices are killing me. I traded in my Cadillac, which I took very good care of, and the sales manager immediately low xxxxx the trade in. I look at the appraisal sheet and he has me listed a “fair” condition. I ask why, and here’s where I’m kicking myself, and he tells me that he’s required to reduced my trade in because they have a $2k “recon fee” which later I found out means “recondition fee.” Do a google search and you’ll see this is a scam used by unscrupulous dealers. KBB already reduces the trade in value, from the private party sale value, to account for this cost, AND I discover that they do this because they make a crapload of money off used cars... well this guy just made an extra $2k on this one by lying to my face! I don’t mind tough negotiations, but lying is not an acceptable negotiation tactic. Contacted Kearny Perason Ford/Kia’s GM and let him know, but I doubt anything will happen because now I’m hearing from other people that they have a pretty bad reputation. EDIT - Quick follow up here. I remembered that one of my best friends from High School was a General Sales Manager for 21 years, so I called him up and explained what happened. Sure enough, Kearny Pearson Ford screwed me good. According to him they’ll end up making a ton of money off my car at wholesale. The GM at KP Ford is acting like there must be some misunderstanding. Yeah right. More
Very impressed today with the service department! I have had mixed feelings about my escape, but I have to admit, these guys really have a great system for checking in for service. I had my vehicle serviced a number of times when Tony was a service advisor. He was a fine example of what a service advisor's role is. I explained the symtoms of my truck and he diagnosed the problem and qu a service advisor. He was a fine example of what a service advisor's role is. I explained the symtoms of my truck and he diagnosed the problem and quoted me a price. I was so pleased that I was not charged a "diagnostic" fee, that I had additional service done as well. I wish he was still there as I had confidence in his service and level of integrity. More
