(Horrible Place) Hello, My name is Yaniv Ron owner of a Chevy Impala (VIN: 2G1105SA3G9159482), and I would like to inform you about a severe problem in your San Diego Hello, My name is Yaniv Ron owner of a Chevy Impala (VIN: 2G1105SA3G9159482), and I would like to inform you about a severe problem in your San Diego office at Jimmie Johnson Kearny Messa which is a big issue for the whole company. Yesterday I had maintenance service to do on my car including fixing the breaks (replacing the pods and shaping the discs). I was informed that the car would be ready in 2.5 hours. after 2.5 hours I went to the service advisor and asked her what about the car, and she said is going to speak with the technician. She gave him a call and told me that he is finishing with the car in about 25 minutes (Needless to say that I saw my car parking and that no one was working on it). After 40 minutes I went back to her and asked about the status, The rep decided to answer a phone call while i am doing so and started to speak with an internal employee about parts (She completely ignored me). After this 5 minute call she turned back to me and said that she would go to ask the technician what is going on...and she didn't, only after few minutes (10 minutes) she went outside and came back without informing me about nothing. I went back to her to ask whats going on; she told me to wait asked me to stand aside and took another customer. After waiting for ten more minutes she called me to her stand, and she called the technician again and asked about the status. He told her that soon is about to go out and apparently the car was pulled up, and no one was working on it (I could see the car from the service centre). I was experiencing the above scenario multiple times and if to conclude I have arrived at 08:00 AM and got my car back at 1:00 pm (Just for changing oil and fixing two discs at the front) and from what I saw it took only 1 hour of active work or "labour". The result is that I needed to pay 400 dollars "Labor" hours which were not used at all (1 hour is 130 dollars). Meaning that Jimmie Johnsons at Kearny Mesa not only lie about the amount of time that they work on cars but also charge money for labour time that wasn't used. My feeling as a customer and as a human being is awful. I never saw that in ANY other place of where I've requested for service. And the worst thing is that it is the second time that it happens to me in that place. I would recommend a broad investigation before you will lose a lot of customers. I am also escalating this problem to all the managers so they would be able to understand more about this specific service centre as it affects the company name as a whole. It is unacceptable and completely unprofessional, and if to be honest I do not know how this place exists with this lack of confidence by us - your customers. Sincerely, Yaniv Ron More

Bought a 2015 Chevy Tahoe in December 2016. Big Issues! A/C broke and the part needed to repair it still hasn't arrived over a month later. Ridiculous. Buyer beware on Chevrolet, Jimmie Johnson Chevrolet, and the entire Service Experience. My Story: I'm an outside sales professional. After driving a 2 Toyota Camry's over the course of 17 years in sales I decided I wanted to go big. I need a mobile office and I didn't like the look of the Toyota Highlander. So, I was looking for a new Tahoe at the end of 2016 and just couldn't find the right configuration new but fortunately a 2015 became available that looked great and had a reasonable amount of miles (45k) so I pulled the trigger. They did the whole inspection, certified it, and I bought an extended warranty and a service plan. After about 3 months I drove to a Doctors appointment, went to get back in the Tahoe (20 minutes later) and it was completely dead. The battery died and I was stranded in a parking garage. Fortunately my wife wasn't too far away, and was on Spring Break, so she came to the rescue. I took the Tahoe straight to the dealership and they said I needed a new battery. Do they not check the battery life when reselling a vehicle? Anyway, $250+ out of my pocket because it wasn't covered along with 1/2 a day wasted, missed appointments, and angry people that do not care why an appointment was missed, just that it was. Fast forward about 2 months, I've now had the vehicle less than 6 months and the Air Conditioner stops working. I take it in and the Service Advisor says something along the lines of...there's been an issue with 2015, 2016, 2017 Tahoes and other(not sure if all but the big ones) Chevrolets with the A/C Condenser going bad. There's a national back order and the earliest he's seen the part come in is 41 days. They'll call me when the part comes in and don't blame Jimmie Johnson. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? This is the start of summer with a brand new car (to me), I spend every day in my car (in a suit) to make money, and it's going to take 1 1/2 months minimum to fix. Of course I ask if there's anyway they can help me out because this will negatively impact my livelihood and the answer is no. I've called in 3 times since the initial diagnosis. First call I got transferred a couple of times but then to parts who really needed to know my Advisors name to give me an answer. He put me on hold and I couldn't wait any longer. 2nd call, reached someone that could look at my account and showed it was on order but no ETA. I asked to speak to a manager to let them know how bad the situation was. I left a message and never received a return call. 3rd call, now about 5 weeks without A/C, and they said it's on order, there are 23 similar orders and there's no way to provide an ETA. I can't say with any level of confidence I could ever recommend a Chevy Tahoe, Jimmie Johnson Chevrolet, or General Motors products. I guess I should have stuck with Toyota. More

Service department refused to diagnose vehicle I recently took my truck to Jimmie Johnson for service regarding 2 recalls and another issue I needed to have diagnosed. The recalls were addressed. IN FACT THE SERVICE MANAGER JIM REFUSED TO EVEN DIAGNOSE THE VEHICLE. He made the claim that modifications I made to the vehicle caused the issue without EVER DOING ANY diagnostics. I told him that I was paying for the diagnostics whether it would be covered under warranty or not. His answer was that he was not charging me because he did not want to touch the vehicle. I am 99% sure that this is against General Motors policy after speaking with multiple other dealerships who ALL stated that it is the responsibility of the dealership I purchased the vehicle from to fix it whether covered by warranty or not. First Luis told me it was the alternator, then no that didn't fix it, you need another new alternator then no we can't figure it out so we'll reprogram the anti-theft then no the entire electrical system. Oh by the way we burned up your battery so we will replace it, then oops we burned up your CD Player/Stereo so comeback on Monday... incompetent xxxxxxxx couldn't even coordinate a shuttle ride back from the office.
