Impeccable Service I HAD a Saturn with three major recalls and thanks to Jimmie Johnson Kearny Mesa Chevrolet I no longer have to stress about my safety. My recall was to be done at another dealership, however I was very scared to be driving this vehicle because my ignition would turn off while driving and lost my power steering while driving on freeway. I was interested in trading it in but the dealership in National City was not helpful only wanting the sale and had me stressed. I called Jimmie Johnson and from the start it was wonderful. I was treated like a VIP from the Service department and Sales department. They are standing behind everything GM is offering to make the right and I left the Saturn there and drove off in my BRAND NEW 2014 Cruze. I want to give a big thanks to all the staff at Jimmie Johnson and I am very proud to say that GM fixes the errors and you have a very proud Chevy owner in me. Thank you all! More
I never thought about purchasing a Chevrolet until My wife and I are savers, but we definitely buy with quality in mind. We were looking for a newer-used hybrid Hyundai Sonata. We test drove one, drove My wife and I are savers, but we definitely buy with quality in mind. We were looking for a newer-used hybrid Hyundai Sonata. We test drove one, drove a Brsnd new Ford Fusion, and went to Jimmy Johnsin Chevrolet to look at another Sonata. We were pleasantly greeted by a young car salesman named Joe Piza, however he regretfully informed us that the car we sought had been moved. We gave him a little more info about what we wanted in a car, and he asked if we would consider looking at a Chevrolet. We had an agenda to stick to, having a few more Sonatas lined up to look at and drive, but we gave him a shot. He shiwed a few Cars in the Cruze line, but the primary reason we were looking for a Sonata was because the hybrid versions got fantastic gas mileage. He got excited and asked if he could show me 1 more car before we left. We agreed, and Then the unexpected happened. I fell in love with a Chevrolet Cruz, Diesel. He showed us the comparisons of the Hybrid MPG vs. a Diesel, and I have to say I was impressed. Unfortunately they only had 2 left that were 14's, and they were the top models... Just beyond our budget. They asked us to give them a chance to see what they can work out, and we agreed. Now, we had our three young kids with us at the time, and they were getting antsy, but Joe got them some popcorn and coloring books and they were set so we could talk business in peace. My wife and I are not hagglers, and we let them know up front that we didn't have time to waste. Joe did everything he could to get us into that car, but we just couldn't settle due to our finances. He asked us one last favor, to allow the sales manager to talk with us instead of walking out on a great opportunity. We agreed, and then we met Brian Burgett. He was very straight forward and wanted to sell us a car. And he found a way to make it happen, meanwhile Joe was playing with our kids who began to get stir crazy. Joe was utterly fantastic in keeping them occupied so that we could close without disruption. I am still amazed at the depth they went to in order to not lose a sale. We had already turned down 2 other car offers that day that were a God deal. We bought from Jimmy Johnson because of many reasons, but the primary reason was how Joe helped us, first with the car, and then with our kids. He is a great person. The last thing I wanted to mention is this; By the time we left, it was around 8 pm. Every single remaining employee was gathered and waiting for us to exit the building with a round of applause and congratulations. They truly made our car buying experience a great one. San Diego's best Chevrolet Dealer I stopped into this dealership Thursday morning early 8:15 and the place was empty, the Receptionist asked if I would like to talk to a salesman, I sa I stopped into this dealership Thursday morning early 8:15 and the place was empty, the Receptionist asked if I would like to talk to a salesman, I said yes and 3 minutes later Dennis was introducing himself. I explained I would not be purchasing today, but would be looking to purchase a 2015 SS Sedan in a few months and had some questions about lead time, pricing on the car, and that I wanted to drive a SS Camaro with 6 speed to get a feel for the clutch since they would be similar and I wasn't quite sure if I may prefer the automatic. Dennis was FANTASTIC and I look forward to completing my purchase with him. We got along well, took the Camaro out no problem, no pressure, seemed excited to be working with someone that knew a lot about the SS than he appreciated the information he learned as we talked. At the end of the test drive her brought out the sales manager Brandon, we talked a little about allocation, builds, ordering, time for delivery etc. 30 minutes after I left, Dennis texted to let me know Brandon ordered the model and features that I want and estimated early to mid-may for delivery, and that as we get closer to it arriving they will call me to see if I want to put a deposit on it for first rights of refusal. Overall I was treated with courtesy, respect, and not pushed to talk numbers or payments before seeing a product, as another Chevrolet dealer area had done. It was a trip to the dealer that I actually enjoyed, and look forward to repeating and have no problem recommending Dennis and the team at Jimmy Johnson Chevy to anyone. More

Asked for a quote online, marked "email preferred" as contact. When the call came, of course I took it. Listened to the standard sales pitch. Then asked the specific question I asked in my online query- how much with military and USAA discount? To my surprise, he didn't have an answer. When I asked why he called me without the information I specifically asked for he got angry. So did I. In my opinion, I understand he wants to make money and I want a new truck. I get that, but when I- the customer, am looking to spend upwards of 50K on a car I expect honesty. Instead of being an honest salesman he got defensive. For all I care he could've told me "sorry, I have to call when a inquiry is made" and I would understand. I would have been fine with that. Worst of all, when I asked who his supervisor was he hung up on me. Customer service? More

Jeni Kendall (sales) was able to demonstrate some of the many high tech features of the 2015 Chevy Volt. Jenni was attentive to our needs, respectful of our time and showed integrity and love for her job. Both Jenni and Amanda Magdolen (finance) gave us personal and attentive service. We went to Jimmie Johnson Kearny Mesa Chevrolet a few days after experiencing "slimy" sales tactics at two other Chevy dealers, it was a pleasant surprise to find someone like Jenni Kendall in sales: professional, respectful and loving her job.
