This has to be the worst service department in the state. I brought my 2015 RAM 3500 (diesel) with only 50,100 miles in for a Mil light on Sept. 15th 2022. With in two hours the service writer ( Hannah) info I brought my 2015 RAM 3500 (diesel) with only 50,100 miles in for a Mil light on Sept. 15th 2022. With in two hours the service writer ( Hannah) informs me that the diesel mechanic (with 23 years experience) is reporting that my fuel system is contaminated with biological growth and I have metal shavings in both fuel filters. He also is saying I have several misfire codes along with fuel injectors #1 and #2 are stuck open, causing internal cylinder damage. With all this he recommends full engine replacement, the estimated cost is $41,000. Hannah recommended filing a claim with my insurance company. She also stated that she has recommended this several time in the past and most insurance companies pay. She also states she has no service loaners. So I took her recommendation. My insurance company assigned an investigator and hired a separate company to come in a take fuel samples for analysis. Two months later the private investigator reports no contamination in my fuel system and my insurance company denied my claim. Now I’m out $800 for a rental car and a denied claim and a vehicle I can’t drive. They charged me $800 for service performed. So I have it towed to a different dealership for a second opinion, and another $300 for towing. Within a few hours the new dealership calls to inform me there is a service bulletin issued for misfires. The update my ECM and no more mil. Light and truck runs great. After all this I’m out $1900. More
