Chad the service advisor was very kind and helpful. My 2023 Maverick has design issues related to the start battery which the sales team should have disclosed before purchase. Let me start with saying I am from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, and I was in town in largo for a few weeks helping with the hurricane disaster, as I was here my 1ton f350 started leaking transmission Pennsylvania, and I was in town in largo for a few weeks helping with the hurricane disaster, as I was here my 1ton f350 started leaking transmission fluid from the intercooler. I called around to possibly get a service appointment to have it looked at and diagnosed and there wasn’t a single dealer within 45 mins that could take me within a 3 week period. I showed up to there parking lot and there service team was able to get me scheduled within a couple days, and in the mean time they were happy to get me a loaner vehicle. As I was thinking my truck is getting older and there will be some down time while I wait to leave back up north I decided to try and find a salesman at 7:15 in the am. Which there was only one at that time because the salesman start a little later than the service counter. Anyway this gentleman (Rick Gibson) walked out and introduced himself and asked “ is there anything that i could help you with?” I said with some humor not unless you can take me and get me into a new truck here. And Rick said well let’s go see what we have on our lot and see if I can’t find something similar to your vehicle. Let me keep you in mind that my truck needing service was totally loaded with basically all the best options you can get. Walking around, there inventory is was astronomical. Rick Gibson almost knew exactly what I was looking for and pointed out all the best options and kept me informed that he would do everything he could to find me what I was looking for. Let me tell you he did just that. Rick Found me a beautiful f-350 king ranch loaded with all the latest bells and whistles and never once forced anything upon me or getting me to feel pressured, let me remind you I was only here for service on my 17 f-350. So we went for a test drive and the truck was absolutely beautiful and after we got back I said to Rick that I had to do some thinking and I would be back in after a few minutes. well some time passed and I thought why would I want to buy a truck out of state, thinking it would be more difficult, but I was totally wrong. I pulled the trigger and went in and said let’s start figuring out how I can trade in my truck for this new one here. And let me tell you that it was the best decision ever. Rick took care of absolutely everything I could have asked for and more! I was able to have a loaner truck while they did tons of work on the new truck (spray in bed liner, paint protection, and swapped my trade in vehicles tires onto my new truck with no questions asked!) this dealership is going places with the employees they have working for them. And I hope they continue on helping other out-of-towners like myself. The appreciation I have for Rick is something I could not fathom and he bent over backwards for all my needs. (Which was more than most people would even think about doing.) even at my in state dealership in Pennsylvania the service was is mot nearly the same as it was here . If your ever thinking you are skeptical about buying a ford in Florida, because you are from out of town, you have to go to Karl flammer. I will swear they have the best customer service within a 500 mile radius. The professionalism and courtesy this company and its people have are most amazing in todays day and age. I will most definitely be back if I am in the area again. Just to stop in and thank them for everything. Thanks again Rick Gibson for all you hard work on this purchase! I could not be more excited with the new truck. And also thank you Karl flammer ford!! More
