Hassle Free: Buying our new Toyota Venza from Kari Toyota was a seamless purchase. However, there was no pressure to buy "extras" even the in finance office. Test Drive: We are completely new in this area and wanted to test-drive the car on some rough roads to see what the ride and handling was like. We asked Al to accompany us during the text drive, and he directed us from the back seat to exactly what we asked for. It a useful test drive, on both good and bad roads. We found out what we needed to know (comfortable, but stable driving). Trade In: We had offers from Carvana, Vroom and others, and showed them to the Kari. They advised us to take the highest offer, as Kari could not match the price from the online buyers. Our salesman even showed us their pricing sheeet (from dealer service-provider, J.Dl Powers). Al explained this was due to pricing differences resulting from differing regional demand for our old car, and I imagine this was realit. I know from experience that cars' selling prices vary greatly by region. At this time all dealers are scrambling for used car inventory, but there was no pressure to trade to Kari Toyota. This was very different from another nearby Toyota dealer that told us flat-out they would not sell us a new car unless we traded our used car to them. This was a self-fulfilling prophecy. They did not sell us a car. Delivery. The new car was in perfect condition, completely clean inside and out, with even a full tank of gas. Al Olson. the salesman, was very accommodating, and took pains to explain the rather complex infotainment and control systems, complete with photographs. Unlike many car salesmen, Al Olsen really knew the product. This is no minor thing. New cars have multi-layered electronic controls systems nowadays that are not intuitive, and the learning curve can be quite steep. We appreciated the patient clarification. One final point about ease-of-purchase: We had sold our old car sooner than we had expected, so Al Olsen, even arranged for us to be picked up from home and taken to the dealership. The driver was also friendly driver, and we appreciated this extra touch. We liked everyone we dealt with at Kari Toyota. I have purchased 10 new cars from dealerships, and this purchase was the fastest, easiest and most cordial experience. Some of this was due to the fact that we knew exactly what we wanted, and Kari Toyota had it exactly that model and color in stock -- at present, a rare occurrence -- but the buying experience was nonetheless pleasant in its own right. Zero pressure. It is only one purchase, but based on our experience, I do not hesitate to recommend Kari Toyota. More
