Called the service department because my 2005.5 2.5L Jetta had a flashing engine light. Other than the light flashing, the was running fine, 30+ MPG, running smooth. I had the car towed to the dealershi Jetta had a flashing engine light. Other than the light flashing, the was running fine, 30+ MPG, running smooth. I had the car towed to the dealership. It has never run since. When I picked up the car, they informed me that I owed $140. No one had explained their service charges to me. The service manager was nice enough to reduce the price to $45, which I appreciate. My concern is that my car was running great and I cannot understand how it could become a brick in their possession. I towed the car home and am trying to find a reputable service to fix the problem. I have owned an Acura of some model for many years. I started off with a TL and then got an 1998 RL. I now have a 2003 RL. Arlen has worked on all of my vehicles over the years. And I'm pretty sure he started off with a TL and then got an 1998 RL. I now have a 2003 RL. Arlen has worked on all of my vehicles over the years. And I'm pretty sure he is one of the reasons my vehicles have last so long. Many thanks to Arlen. Trish has been so helpful and accomodating whenever I've needed service on my vehicles. I commend the Radley organization for your wonderful staff. The customer service is far beyond ordinary in this day and age it is remarkable. I highly recommend Woodbridge Karen Radley Acura/Volkswagon dealership for its fine product and excellent customer service. More
I found a 2006 Jetta online and set up an appointment to see the car with consultant Melvin Cygan. Melvin worked with me from the start and did a phenomenal job throughout the process. Melvin was personable, organized, and a true professional. The paperwork process and final checkout went very smoothly and my family was out of the dealership in under 2 hours with our "new" car. I would definitely recommend this dealership and particularly Melvin Cygan for future vehicle purchases. Thanks very much. More
I searched for a vehicle through USAA. Located in Norfolk VA, I went to a dealer in Newport News as it was closer. They were not able to match Karen Radley prices, but were also less friendly and helpful in VA, I went to a dealer in Newport News as it was closer. They were not able to match Karen Radley prices, but were also less friendly and helpful in finding the vehicle I wanted. Sal Cirillo was able to find the vehicle I wanted for thousands less than the local dealer, and also gave us a full "tour" of the car upon delivery to make sure we knew how to use everything. I highly recommend Karen Radley at Woodbridge, VA. More
After my test drive I negotiated a price with Pat, with 0% financing. Brett (the Sales Manager) had to okay the deal, which he did. Two days later when I went in to pick up the car and do the financing, 0% financing. Brett (the Sales Manager) had to okay the deal, which he did. Two days later when I went in to pick up the car and do the financing, the finance representative informed me that price I negotiated did not qualify for the 0% financing; only the MSRP qualified. This was contrary to what I was told two days earlier by the sales staff. The finance representative discussed the issue with Brett and Pat for about 5 minutes and came back to inform me that the price I negotiated did in fact qualify for the 0% financing. All was now going well until I was asked to sign the buyer's order and the sales contract -- it contained the MSRP, not the price I had negotiated. I called this to the attention of the finance representative, who once again dismissed herself to speak to Pat and Brett. She returned a few minutes later, re-printed the paperwork with the correct price and we finished up the transaction. At best, it was a lack of attention to detail; at its worst, it was the old "bait and switch" routine with the price along with an attempt to slip the MSRP into the sales contract so that we would end up paying full price for the car. Pat never apologized for the "mixup," and Brett did not come out of his office to apologize for the "mixup" or thank me for my business. While I still recommend this dealer, I recommend potential buyers work with another sales rep. In addition, read all the paperwork CAREFULLY before you sign! More
When I was in the market for a Jetta in 2009 I visited this dealership and was so turned off I vowed I would never return. The sales person had the audacity to try to induce me to sign a "manila" folder w this dealership and was so turned off I vowed I would never return. The sales person had the audacity to try to induce me to sign a "manila" folder with a lease cost on it - very disrespectful and treated me as if I was stupid. I purchased my Jetta elsewhere! In the interim due to a breakdown I had to have my Jetta towed to a dealer and this was the closest to the break down site - Karen Radley. I was so pleased with the service and attention given to my situation by Mr. Jeff Beecroft that when I received a VIP promotion letter I decided to give the dealership another chance. Mistake!! The letter listed two names to call (both managers Ron and Brett). Neither returned my call and instead had one of their sales people (Pat) give me a call. The person that called had very poor telephone manners and could not answer any of my questions. When I visited the dealership Pat could still not answer any of my question and had to keep going to Brett for answers - because of all the back and forth to get answers more questions were generated and details lost. In short both Brett and Pat were not respectful of the my time (it took me 45 minutes both ways to drive to the dealership and I spent an hour there even though I knew exactly what I wanted and had test driven an identical vehicle previously). I think it is very disrespectful and un-professional to not deal directly with a customer, using a "middle person" to run back and forth with information. It causes misinformation, mistakes, and lost this sale even after I had writted a check as a deposit! More
I have been dealing with this dealer for 15 years and have dealt with other car dealers around the country. In a few words they are the best I have ever worked with when it comes to customer service, an have dealt with other car dealers around the country. In a few words they are the best I have ever worked with when it comes to customer service, and service department. Their supply of cars and their ease of processing is excellent and that is from initial purchase throughout the life of every car I have bought from them. Elliot Stern More
I was originally looking into a Ford Fiesta, but when the ford dealership sold the car I was supposed to test drive, we started looking into other brands. Dave Hincher is a family friend and works at the Acu ford dealership sold the car I was supposed to test drive, we started looking into other brands. Dave Hincher is a family friend and works at the Acura place, so my family and I went there to potentially buy a car from him, or to at least look at them. Dave was with a customer, and Sal came out and greeted us and let us know Dave was with a customer, but would join us ASAP. He showed us the Golfs, including the Tdi, two door, and four door. There were no Volksagen Golf four door non-TDIs. Sal let me test drive the Jetta, which has the same engine and train as the Golf. I fell in love with it, and decided on a red four door golf. Sal had it to me in under 48 hours, ready to go. One of the tires' PSI has been acting up, but I'm going by to get the checked out today. Sal and Dave were great, as was the rest of the Karen Radley staff I interacted with. More
Bob and Clarence made my new car buying experience memborable and stress free. I purchased an Acura from Karen Radley in 1993 and recalled being treated fairly and sold an Acura Integra at a very memborable and stress free. I purchased an Acura from Karen Radley in 1993 and recalled being treated fairly and sold an Acura Integra at a very fair price, which meant a lot to me because I was a young 2ndLt back then with minimal funds. As a result, when it was time to find the perfect 2011 VW Jetta for my college age daughter (grads in Dec 11 from Penn State!), I visited the USAA car buying service online and was not suprised Karen Radley was recommended as having the car I wanted at the best price. Bob was exceptional on the phone, his patience is Monk like. Clarence has the "it" factor. Superior communications skills..both are obviously have exceptional Professional Selling Skills and eventthough I had made the decision to buy the car, continued to probe for additional needs throughout the process. My daughter Sarah learned from the experience and commented on how knowledgeable and frienly Clarence was. She also liked the orientation of the dealership and the explanation she was provided on the car itself and how to process the car for service/maintenance. I would not be suprised if Sarah seeks you out on her own one day. I would also like to point out that I had a pre-approved loan from Navy Fed Credit Union. As I was paying the bill, I learned that VW could give me a better deal at half the interest rate Navy Fed had given me. I took it! Great job on the part of your finance guru! He saved me a couple hundred bucks in the long term - which then allowed me to purchase an extended warranty to provide me the peace of mind my daughter will be driven a well maintained/serviceable Jetta in the years to come. I will refer my fellow LtCols and other Marnes I work with to Karen Radley. Be fair, be patient and remember, "Coffee is for Closers!"
