I leased a vehicle from Karen Radley Volkswagen the beginning of March 2016; it is four months into my lease and the dealership has failed to provide the title and registration which falls in their purview for leased vehicles. They have added on additional expenses for taxes, which was never revealed to me before the paperwork was signed. In addition, the dealership has negligently failed to provide temporary tags during the process. I am paying monthly payments on a vehicle I cannot drive legally. I would not recommend doing business with them. More
Their alignment machine needed to be calibrated. They repaired my 2012 Passat because of a recall. I purchased new tires and had the car aligned just 6 months ago and only have only driven 3,000 miles since. Long story short they either lied or have a guy that doesn't know how to test for an alignment. I know this because I have a trusted alignment specialist that does custom cars and he verified my alignment was perfect. The service department manager and the old guy service rep didn't apologize, say they were sorry ... NOTHING. They are supposed to refund the $40 I paid for my guy to verify I didn't need an alignment ... so far nothing. Sad thing is I have another recall for a Takata air bag that VW doesn't have a fix for yet so I have to take the car back to these liars. $189 is what it would have cost me for service that was not needed at all. Update: They reimbursed my cost and I received a follow up phone call from Rod Emmons. He stated he had the alignment machine calibrated and gave me an apology. I can't really say if they do good work but at least they are trying to do the right thing. More

Easy car buying experience I purchased a used car from Karen Radley VW after seeing it posted on the various search engines (Autotrader, Cars.com, etc.). It was pretty much exa I purchased a used car from Karen Radley VW after seeing it posted on the various search engines (Autotrader, Cars.com, etc.). It was pretty much exactly what I was looking for, and the published price was attractive, so I scheduled a visit through Chris Henson to check it out and test drive. Although Chris told me he was new to the business, he handled the entire process like a seasoned veteran, and was very cordial and respectful throughout. Also, financing the car was easier than expected. Their finance person, Tony Wietz, was also a stand-up person, and like Chris, was honest and never pushy...the complete opposite of what I've come across at other dealerships who try to sell you a bill of goods you don't need. The entire process from test drive to walking out the door with the car literally took a few hours. I noticed that their motto is "delivering memorable experiences" ...I would add the word "pleasurable" to that. More

The overall experience was outstanding through the entire process! Professionalism, honesty, efficiency, and customer focused are characteristics that Karen Radley staff excelled at during this purchase experience. My daughter and I visited this dealership to gain information on the VW GTI car. We informed our Sales Consultant, Andrew Dixon, at the time that we are only seeking information and that we are not ready to purchase yet. Drew allowed us the opportunity to independently test drive the car, and gave us the needed information for the visit with NO pressure to purchase. His Manager, Tony Wiest, followed up with a phone call offering his assistance with any questions that we may have. This approach left us with a good first impression, while we were still analyzing the various cars and dealerships in the area. After few weeks, we decided on the GTI and came back to our first most pleasant experience place. This time, we were greeted by Chris Henson, who worked diligently with us throughout the process. Chris is friendly, honest, knowledgeable and has “customer first” mentality. We worked closely with the Sales Manager, Jose Cabrera, securing the desired model vehicle. Jose also put us at ease with the purchase process experience. He transparently walked us through the process of inquiring the desired model vehicle, since they had to secure it from another dealership. We picked up the car the following day. It was in excellent “show room” condition! My daughter loves it! Karen Radley has won our loyalty, and we will definitely give them the first opportunity in purchasing our next vehicles! They offered me more on my trade in than another VW dealer and they gave me an excellent price on my 2012 VW CC! I got my dream car, in the color I wanted, no hassle, the process was easy and painless and they worked with my credit union! The staff was friendly to me and my family! I was able to complete my transaction with my 5 year old son!!! I would definitely go back and recommend Karen Radleys VW over Bill Britt VW!!!! More
Creativity par excellence I originally went into the dealership looking to replace my vehicle--which would have meant 2 loans. Through the creativity of the in-house finance folks, I was able to lease a vehicle (which I love) and get out from under any loan. The whole process was child's play, and a real win on every front. I ended up traveling to Woodbridge in order to purchase a certified pre owned VW Beetle. Mr Clarence was extremely helpful through the process and never tried to push one option over another. he gave me the facts, options, explanations and allowed me to test drive all the cars I liked and make an option myself. I liked the fact that they respected my budget and the General Sales Manager Mr Slock accommodated me in that. I had the best experience, and managed to leave the same day with a new car and everything done. They even helped me with the car insurance and financing. Highly recommended and probably I will pay a visit again if I ever decide in the future to purchase a new VW. Thank you once again! More
My fiance came into this dealership last Saturday (on my behalf) because I was not able to take off work, plus they aren't open Sundays. He was treated as if he was not a serious buyer and the finance department wasn't even trying to get a deal done. (supposedly because my trade was too upside down) As far as I know the deal was never submitted to any banks. I called in myself and spoke to another sales person who assured me he would try to see what was going on and get something moving in the right direction. He called me back later to explain that my trade was too upside down and no bank is going to accept the deal. I told him I really want to buy the car and I need them get back to me with what its going to take. I never received a phone call back until today (4 days later). A guy asking if anyone ever followed up with me, I explained I already purchased another Volkswagen yesterday at another dealer and that Volkswagen dealer was able to work out a deal with my upside down trade. This dealership has serious lack of customer follow up and not much effort to get a deal done to a sell a car. More
