When it comes to negotiating a new car buy at a dealership I am about as paranoid as it comes dealing with salespeople. With that being said I had a great buying experience at Kahlo due to my sal dealership I am about as paranoid as it comes dealing with salespeople. With that being said I had a great buying experience at Kahlo due to my salesperson Justin Lee. I was shopping seven area Jeep dealers looking the the best price on a 2 DR Wrangler Sport S. I had reached out to Kahlo on Carguru’s just to do my pricing due diligence but was not expecting much from them as I had priced Kahlo in the past and their advertised prices were higher than others. Even after rebuffing Justin’s initial presented Wranglers and offers a day earlier Justin kept reaching out presenting different Wranglers and offers working with the Kahlo finance department. My plan was to buy on the last day of the month for more buying power. After pricing and negotiating with so many dealers all week long I was fully expecting to drive up to Anderson that morning and pull the trigger on a Wrangler at a large dealership up there with the best deal. Justin would never give up and swooped in and stole the deal on the last day. Not only did Justin put in the hard work to make the sale, he also made my wife and I feel comfortable during the long wait during financing, Last day of the month equals a busy dealership and there were several deals before us. So during our 2 HR wait he brought us drinks and kept us informed on what was going on with the timing. I highly recommend Kahlo and Justin for your next buying experience. More
I have been a Jeep owner for 5 years, this is my second Jeep so I expect only the best. Its very hard to move on from a Jeep you have become attached to. Don't trust them with a trade in! I attempted to but a new Grand Cherokee from Kahlo. My trade in was appraised by Carmax and valued in the NADA guides at almost $7000 more than Kahlo I attempted to but a new Grand Cherokee from Kahlo. The service center and customer service there is completely I took my jeep there to get services and checked out. The valve went out on my jeep and was causing it to over heat. I asked them to look at it they said it needed a tune up but was ok to drive for 2 weeks until they could service it. I was hesitant since a previous mechanic said not to drive it due to it could cause much worse damage. I took it in 1 and half weeks later like they said to and this time. Now they said the engine was completely ruined but it was still under warranty so it should be covered no big deal. After 3 weeks I hadn't heard much from them whenever I called about my jeep they gave me the run around then finally said the engine warranty was rejected so I would have to pay for the service done. They took apart my engine without my consent and lied to me about everything. I went to another mechanic and found out that the engine cracked from driving while the valve went out and that the dealership just didn't want to authorize a rental car for 2 weeks so that's why they said to drive it. I would never go here again!! They do not know what to do and they lie to you to try to spike up the bill as high as they can! When I called them out on it they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. I should have went to my mechanic in first place but he suggested the dealership since they could put factory parts on it and the warranty would cover it. More
I love Dodge Vehicles, Kahlo gives them a bad name! A few weeks ago I had them perform some safety recall work on my Ram 2500 4x4. I dropped it of the night before my scheduled appointment and gave them the keys. Work was supposed to be completed by early afternoon the next day. 3 days after dropping it off and still no call saying it was completed. When I called to ask what was taking so long they didn't even know they had my truck and could not find it. They called back 30 minutes later to tell me they would get started on it right away. Oh well, it is not my primary vehicle and I rarely drive it. Well, 2-3 weeks later I get a letter from them saying they are in need of used Ram trucks and would like to buy mine either as a trade-in or selling it outright. Since I really don't need the truck I figured why not just sell it. I realize they are a dealership and are out to make money so I was expecting an offer of at least wholesale pricing. I called ahead of time and was told when to arrive. I spent the morning detailing the truck and it looked great. No rust, no dents, perfect interior and only 113K miles. I get there and the person I need to deal with is in meeting. Why tell me to come at this time if they are in a meeting. Well long story short, almost an hour later they give me an insult or maybe they hoped I was just plain STUPID. 25% below wholesale. All I can say is I will keep supporting buying Dodge while doing my very best to turn as many folks away from these rip-off artists as I can. More
