I have been a loyal Buttons customer for many years, however with the recent loss of my sales guy I didn't feel bad exploring other dealerships. After stopping at several I found a truck I likes at Kahlo. Originally, I was told it had been sold but upon further investigation it was found that this unit was still available. I requested a test drive the sales guy set it up and off we went. After the test drive, I told him to tag it I would contact my bank on Monday and have the documents sent over. I was asked to put money down however with-it being Saturday night at closing I was not concerned. I was then told that due to the end of the month he could not promise the rebates would still be available on Monday. I believe my comment was well then, I will not buy it or pay the difference. Monday, I had my banker work on the loan with the sales guy to get things moving. Knowing I had my own financing I still received a call from the dealership asking if they could get me to change my mind. Obviously if that was the case I would have said otherwise. While there on Saturday I also had him send me photos of a used 4500 for a work truck for one of my workers. I told him i may just buy both while I was at it. Due to scheduling my banker was not able to get the docs ready until Tuesday and the sales guy said asked me to put down some money to hold the truck. I agreed and placed a $1,000.00 down payment and he said he would have the truck cleaned up and ready for me. Later Tuesday afternoon I signed the docs and went to the dealership for our 5pm meeting. After 38 minutes of jacking around with the ram app he comes out and says the finance guy had to leave and I would have to come back tomorrow! due to a scheduling conflict, I told him it would have to be Thursday. While walking around the truck I kept seeing blue marker all over the truck, I asked what that was from he stated it was from the factory. I came back later that evening to pick up the truck taking it home, next day I went to my shift at the firehouse and in excitement was showing the guys the truck as I popped the hood the engine bay looked like someone had drove the truck into a mud puddle. I also noticed the glue was still on the back window from the factory sticker and still multiple blue marker lines all over the truck. After shift the next day I met at the dealership that evening spoke with my sales guy and mentioned that their detailer crew sucked and expressed the engine bay was nasty. HIs rebuttal was the girl was new, and she was short and could not reach. My rebuttal was buy her a step stool! it took about 15 minutes to sign papers as I was walking out, he said I would be getting a survey and if I could not give him all 10's to come back and he would see what he could do. I then mentioned the glue in the window, and he said he could have it cleaned. That took me back a bit because I just spent $98,800.00 and also said I was interested in the other $68,000.00 truck for my employee but you obvious could not care enough to clean the truck right the first time, plus your finance guy left 10 minutes before I was done the other day after 38 minutes of screwing with a stupid app, and you ignored my comments of the blue marker. You care enough about the 10 out of 10 score but want me to come back again drop off the truck to clean it for the second time... xxx really. I turned and said nope I will pay to have it cleaned. SO long story short I will not be coming back I will go back to my other dealer find a new salesperson. If this customer portal actually works take a look back at my past. I have a small fleet of ram trucks; I just had my one of my trucks in the shop for 4 months getting a new engine and the 3rd trans and that did not aggravate me like this has. I do not expect much but I have spent over $500K in trucks in the past 4 years and dam Shure deserve better. sincerely Alan Perry 317-409-3225 More
