We bought a new 2023 Sportage for my oldest son several years ago and should’ve learned my lesson then. We nearly walked out of the dealership because they told us one thing and then tried to present numbers that were way different (worse) than what was originally told to us. As it turned out, after speaking with the sales manager, we ended up working out an agreement. However, at the end of a very long night at the dealership, the finance manager ended up giving us a different rate than what they said they were giving us and we gave in after being there for nearly 6 hours. Fast forward to this week. Our youngest son needed a car. We went shopping in Clermont again since most of the dealerships are all in one place. We went to several dealerships but the Kia dealer was closed. Before we went home for the night on Sunday, we were at another dealership when I pulled up the Kia of Clermont website. I was looking at their end of the year deals and we saw (77) 2025 Tellurides listed. I then filtered the selection to the S-trim and found 12 of them. They all had fantastic prices listed, including promotional discounts and rebates. I told my wife about them and we decided to come back to Clermont on Monday to see if we could work this out. We also had another vehicle already negotiated, but this price was too good to pass up. In the morning, I called the Sales department and asked them specifically about the internet price and to tell me if there were going to be any surprises. I brought up the fact that we were existing customers of this dealership and were hoping this would carry some weight. I spoke to two different salespeople and they both assured me that there would be no surprises. So, we went to the dealership after work and met with one of the people we spoke to John. I reminded him of our conversation and then we went and looked at the Tellurides, and test drove one. Then, when it came time to show us the numbers, they were not even close. At least $5K higher than what I saw on the internet. I pulled up the listing and put my phone next to the sheet and nothing matched, not even the MSRP. I was furious. John could not fully explain the difference and then proceeded to tell me there was fine print. I said that is dishonest in every way. I said I gave you the opportunity to tell me if there was going to be any catches or gotchas and he told me we’re good to go. I then asked to talk to the sales manager. His name was also John (finance manager – on his name tag). He then proceeded to try to explain to me that they pay lots of high-priced lawyers that say we’re allowed to advertise this way. Like that was an acceptable explanation. I said, but I’ve given you all plenty of opportunities to tell me UPFRONT before we even test drove a car. And you all took the charlatan approach to this. You are all frauds. I even tried one last time to see if we could meet somewhere in the middle and come up with a number that worked for all of us. But then he said, nope that’s it. He specifically told me “HIS” manager told him there was no money in the vehicle to trim the price. This means the prices they advertised online were not in good faith and were not ever available in the first place. I am going to file a complaint with the FL Department of Professional Regulation for deceptive sales practices. If you read this and still think it’s OK to do business with these crooks, then you deserve what you get. More
Took our new Kia Sorrento back for its first initial service. Made a 7 AM appointment. Oil and tires done back on the road by 745. Spectacular service. My surface advisor Marshall was spectacular. He let me know exactly what was happening and where my car was in the process. I also received a video from the service department, showing me what they were doing. That is a first. Every time I go there I leave xxxxxx off. I was told I would be provided an uber to and from my house while they did the service. Drove all the way there only to get nothing done and then drove all the home. This dealer sucks and I regret the day I stepped foot in it. Nothing but lies and hassles and cons. Do Not Buy from them... Read google reviews and BBB reviews. They try selling you stuff you don't need and charge up the gazoo for it. I give 1 star cuz they don't let you give any less' or I would give them minus 5 stars More

I recently purchased a Kia Carnival and needed to schedule an urgent recall. The situation took me by surprise, and timely assistance was essential. Mr. Valência identified five recalls that needed immediate attention and assured me that the service would be completed within five hours. The customer service was exemplary, the deadline was fully met, and all recalls were executed with precision and professionalism — a clear reflection of the standards upheld by a market-leading company. Congratulations to Kia, the entire team, and particularly to Mr. Giovanni Valência. Professionals of his level reinforce confidence in the principle of truly “MAKING IT HAPPEN.” Highly recommended. Do not use their service department. They’re huge on ripping you off and charging astronomical prices. upon my arrival, i was greeted by valet who introduced me to a service advisor by the name of Cristen Z. upon speaking to Cristen about my reason for being at kia we exchanged conversation about my vehicle to a service advisor by the name of Cristen Z. upon speaking to Cristen about my reason for being at kia we exchanged conversation about my vehicle and A/C needs what i need inspected, i spoke with Cristen about my assumption of a leak being that i just put refrigerant in the vehicle and it leaked out Cristen advised i was looking at a ball park amount of 2,000 dollars to fix anything on my car and i asked how can he give such a number without a diagnostic.. he advised he sees it all the time on the vehicles which made me ask why isn't the known issue listed as a recall then he begins to call my assertiveness ,argumentative .. yet i was not in a bad mood nor was i trying to fight its because i was standing up for my opinion he said he would just stay quiet and just not say anything Cristen was backing out of our conversation because he wanted me to ok to his opinion that I didn't agree to only thing i was looking forward to pay was my diagnostic fee not 2,000 without a reason i also asked Cristen why is he backing out his customer service position over a simple convo and that he should be strong in a situation when dealing with the person or customers there with the issue .. i then decided to speak with a lead that referred me to Michael walker jr. which he provided excellent CS and Valuble info in order to Assist i really dislike to put Michaels name under a not so good review however i will say Cristen needs more coaching on not going ahead of the initial reason and giving out numbers and pricing trying to run customers away before hand . relax and take action of the diagnostic and get me a uber home like Michael did whew! it was way to early for the confusion.. I was very pleased with this dealership. Oscar was my advisor. He explained all the work that was to be done and why. The waiting room had water, snacks and a nice coffee machine.
