I have responded. I spoke to yet another so called manager. Explained the entire scenario again. They really offered no defense. Did not take responsibility. They asked me how to make it right? AFTER I WENT AND BOUGHT ANOTHER CAR! I said, unless you are willing to honor your advertised price AND buy the car I just purchased for what I paid for in full, then you can't possibly make it right. Of course his response was "I'll make a note in the file." As expected, they would not even try to make it right. I've talked to the state and am in the process of filing a formal complaint.
