The used car dealer found one in California for a note I could afford, and had no miles on it. The manager came over and said no because I might not buy it. Then why would I come in there looking for a specific vehicle? The man with too much belly said no to a deal that walked in and found him. That's not good salesmanship, or business at all for that matter. Good luck Autonation Jeep, your gonna need it the way you turn down customers. More

I would highly recommend if you are looking to buy a car in the Mobile area that you contact Shamarcus Mack at Autonation. More

The next day, I took it to my mechanic to give it a once over. He identified two issues, the first was not big, just worn rear shocks. The big problem was a leaking rear axle seal. Within three days of the purchase, I took it back to the dealer to look at the items my mechanic identified. The dealer took the Jeep to be checked, their "EXPERT" technician, said there was nothing wrong and there was no leak. Needless to say, this was a LIE. He either didn't check, or he's incompetent, or the dealer just said a simple "UP YOURS" to my report of an issue. A week or so later, I had my mechanic pull the rotor to discover a completely compromised emergency braking system. I showed pictures to the sales manager, who promised he would talk to the GM and get back to me. It has been 8 weeks and nothing but silence. Fair warning to anyone doing business with this group, even "Certified" doesn't really mean anything. More

Worst service dept. ever... Needed to have 2 tires replaced and a few software recalls done. Called ahead for an appointment and they already had my name and vehicle info in thei Needed to have 2 tires replaced and a few software recalls done. Called ahead for an appointment and they already had my name and vehicle info in their systems from a previous recall. I arrived 15 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment time of 10AM. So when I arrived at 9:45AM I told the service associate that I wanted two new tires on the front, rotate the fronts to the back and get a front end alignment. I told her I didnt care what tires she got as long as they were the same size. I also reminded her about the software recalls. She said "no problem, but it could take as long as two hours for everything". I said that was fine, so I waited in the service lobby. 30 minutes later I received a text message from the dealership that my vehicle is ready for pick-up. I showed it to the service associate knowing it was not correct. She confirmed and didn't know why I received it. At 12:15PM I was walking outside figuring that my truck may be getting close. There in the parking lot I see my truck....still with the old tires. Its been 2 1/2 hours now. I then inquire about the work and she stated that they didnt have the tires for a 2015 RAM 1500 pickup AND none of the recalls had been done. What?! She promised to expedite the recalls while she tries to get tires coming. I sat there for another 2 hours and 45 minutes only to find out the recalls had been done but they didnt have time enough to get the same tires (stock) that were already on it. So basically I spent 5 1/2 hrs sitting in a dealership and left without having the main issue resolved which was getting 2 new tires. She could have told me as soon as she found out that they didnt have the tires and I would have rescheduled or went elsewhere. More

I almost bought a vehicle that I test drove at night then went back to buy during the day and the salesman “forgot” to tell me that it was completely covered in hail damage on the roof. That was very dishonest. I should’ve known better but I purchased a different vehicle. 7 days after I purchased my vehicle, it started making a bad noise. The service manager Robyn was very rude. They kept my car for 6 days to fix the noise. The vehicle had some slight damage on the front bumper, which I was told before I purchased it that it would most likely be covered because it was a certified preowned vehicle. Now they refuse to fix it. I wish I had never gone to AutoNation! More
WOW what a disorganized place Dropped 2006 Jeep off for a repair on Monday 3/26/18 at 0930AM For an oil pressure sensor unit replacement (already verified this needs replacement) Dropped 2006 Jeep off for a repair on Monday 3/26/18 at 0930AM For an oil pressure sensor unit replacement (already verified this needs replacement) and an oil change tire rotation. Got call on Tuesday 03/27/18 stating the following other recommended service should be done; the radiator cap was leaking, and since Jeep has almost 100K miles, should also change out the spark plugs. Of which I gave go ahead for all. Service advisor stated that the oil sensor unit is not in stock and will be there tomorrow (Wednesday 3/28/18), so Jeep will be ready then. Did not hear back from dealership Wednesday, nor Thursday. I called to check on status Thursday, and was put on hold for quite a long time, hung up and called back to be put on hold again. Once someone picked up phone I was advised the following. Oil sensor unit was ordered Tuesday but never came in on Wednesday, was then reordered to overnight to be delivered Thursday, but again never came in. I asked about the other work being completed and was told that Jeep was currently not ready (was down being worked on at that time). But was also assured that part was on its way and would be there Friday late morning and should be ready to go just after part arrived. Again, did not hear from dealership Friday, so called to check status. Was put on hold again for thirty minutes, hung up and called back to be put on hold again. Waited it out and finally was told that Jeep will be ready in about 2 to 3 hours. Waited three and a half hours later to call back and check status again. Was again put on hold, waited 45 minutes, hung up. Call back and spoke to operator of which I asked to please not transfer me as no one is picking up and I have already done my time on hold. Explained that I am trying to just pay for serve to pick up Jeep as the work should now be complete. She stated that someone will call me back in 30 minutes. Waited 45 minutes and called back to be put on hold again. Waited on hold for 1 hour, hung up and called back to be put on hold for a bit over 1 hour this time (it is now 0630PM). Called back and spoke to operator about not transferring me to hold please, and I needed to pay and get my jeep picked up. She told me that they “will” call me back and that they are still there (as they close at 0600PM). Got call from service, but could not pay for repair as it was now after hours, I was asked to call in morning and get everything worked out. Called at 0800AM Saturday 3/31/18 and spoke to serve department. Looks like everything is indeed done, BUT some confusion on my warranty coverage approval. He asked to give him a few moments to review and call me back as this is first time he is seeing this ticket, of which I understood, but I also stated that my kid is on her way to pick up jeep and warranty issue or not I will pay just to get my car back at this point. I called back after 0900AM (due to not again receiving a phone call from dealership), was transferred to service department, put on hold, and kicked back to operator (hear we go again). I asked operator to NOT transfer me again and quickly explained that I have been doing this now for the past 24 hours. I only need to pay for my repair, and at this point (once again) I do not care about warranty coverage and that I will pay extra $1000 just to get my Jeep back. Its 0930Am now – no response from dealer and my kid is on her way to pick Jeep up Wondering what is happening there? Sum up – Kid paid for service after waiting for them to track down manager to approve warranty work? Lost time on my part – over 4 hours work over phone calls (mostly hold time) Amount of time to get work performed on Jeep 6 days! Absolutely no accountability from management apparently Need to point out that it seems the workers themselves tried very hard – just not given the tools nor obvious man power to handle job duties. – Again, Absolutely no accountability from management apparently So, lesson learned on our part – never going back to this location nor any other location that is owned by same, for repair work or future purchase. Basic thought is this – if this was so poorly managed, then the rest of the other locations must be same, and its only dumb luck to get anything other than a bad experience! Not even getting into the bill itself being well above the original estimate, just happy to have my Jeep back. More
