My husband and I went to Koons looking for a preowned vehicle, one that was good on gas and would make a good family vehicle. Pat and Charles were AHH-mazing!. Charles was super patient while I drove li vehicle, one that was good on gas and would make a good family vehicle. Pat and Charles were AHH-mazing!. Charles was super patient while I drove like 8 different cars, seriously and never lost patience. He never tried to push any vehicle on me. We narrowed it down to two cars. I loved both, but was IN LOVE with the more expensive one (of course). When we went in and talked to Pat, he was straight forward with us. The more expensive car, just was not as good for us as the less expensive one. So we now have a low mileage Certified (the other wasn't) preowned vehicle that I LOVE!! They gave us such a great deal and made the entire potentially stressful situation a joy! When we need another vehicle new or used I will absolutely go back to Charles and Pat! And anyone else who needs a car . . .I'll send them that way too! More
I purchase my first GM product from Joyce Koons GM/Buick on Friday August 26th. I was choosing between a Toyotal Highlander and GM Acadia. After speaking with Mr. Carlson and Patrick Bryant they convinced m on Friday August 26th. I was choosing between a Toyotal Highlander and GM Acadia. After speaking with Mr. Carlson and Patrick Bryant they convinced me to purchase the Acadia. The difference in room and the steering not to mention the luxury feel of the car, did win me over the Toyota. They did convince me of the realiabilty of GM, which I was concerned with. But they where very knowledgable about the product they are selling and other brands that are on the market. I do consider myself a hard sell. This is the first time in my vehicle purchasing experience that I actually enjoyed buying a car. Pat was very matter of fact about the product he was selling me and answered all my questions and calmed my doubts, but with actual answers. I usually spend no more than $30,000 for a vehicle - well, I drove away in a $ 40,000 plus vehicle. The salespeople took their time with me, did not rush me, I did not feel pressured. The comfort level of the sales office was so clean and everyone was extremly courteous. As the purchase was taking place, I did mention that I needed to get back home soon to feed my dogs, due to a storm coming. They put the final touches on everything quickly to accommodate me - I was so impressed. Truly it was on the best experiences I have had. To sum it up - Excellant sales staff, knowledgable of their product, clean, courteous, I would recommend Joyce Koons GM/Buick and any of her dealerships to everyone. THANK YOU TO ALL!!! More

I'd been shopping for a few months for an Enclave with certain features and within the budget I had set, and had already acquired pre-approval from my credit union for financing. I was getting discourage certain features and within the budget I had set, and had already acquired pre-approval from my credit union for financing. I was getting discouraged enough in my search that I was even considering a low-mileage used vehicle by this time. Late one Saturday afternoon thru an online search I found a dealership in Alexandria that was advertising a 2010 but when I called they no longer had the car. The salesperson told me they did have a 2011 with almost everything I wanted and they could add what I needed at the dealership (which is not in fact possible for the trailering package unless you go after-market). We made arrangements to drive out Sunday but the traffic was so bad on North95 that we turned around and told them we'd come up Monday after work instead. That evening before I went to bed I decided to do one more search online and put out a request for info from the 4 closest dealers and I'm so happy I did. Patrick Bryant was the first to respond the next morning (using the contact instructions I had given, which few of the other responders paid attention to); I told him what I had in the works and what I really wanted. Now, I know that all dealers have the ability to search other inventories and do dealer exchanges, so I have to wonder why no one else came up with the car that Patrick did; I have to believe that the others weren't really trying. Those that did call me were trying to sell me what they had. Patrick seemed genuinely interested in getting me what I wanted. Big difference!!! Amazingly, in a matter of minutes, he found the exact car with a couple extra features (I was not being picky about exterior color and I wasn't trading anything in so that helped too), and he still beat the other dealer's price. He was willing to drive it back that day from West VA if I would commit, which I was willing to do so long as it was in new condition with low miles, as I had test-driven one a while back (when I fell in love with the Enclave) at a dealer close to home. Patrick was not going to be working Monday evening so he made a 7:30 appointment for us to work with Gary Johnson. Gary was the most low-key and pleasant salesperson I have ever worked with, and I spent several years of my life as a comptroller for two dealer chains so I've known a lot of car salespeople. When we arrived (my husband and two teenagers with me) the vehicle had been washed and vaccuumed and was right by the front door waiting for us. I felt like the princess whose chariot awaited. :-) Gary made us feel at ease and unpressured. He knew the vehicle and its features and helped us get familiar with it (very important for me) before we drove off in the darkness toward home. He also filled up the tank for us at no charge which we were very appreciative of, and he said that is a normal perk for their new car customers. Misty offered warranties and was not the least bit pushy; she accepted "no thank you" with grace and answered all questions with an honest and professional demeanor. Lastly, we worked with Jordan in Finance, who quickly got us through all the paperwork and tags (which Gary put on for us) and in less than 90 minutes from arrival we were all done. Buying a new vehicle has never been easier for me, and I will certainly call on this team again when we're in the market for another vehicle. More
Patrick Bryant was a great person to work with. Patrick made it clear if he did not have the vehicle I wanted on his lot he would find one elsewhere for me. (Which he did). He was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the automobile. If he did not know the answer to my questions he found someone who did. I feel that I can go back to Patrick if I have any problems or questions in the future. Since I purchased a new car I have not had to use the service department but I am sure I will be treated with the same kindness. I live in Richmond VA and was in Manassas dropping my step-son off at the airport as I was going up interstate 66 I saw your dealership, and I wanted to check you guys out and get a price on a new GMC. I have been shopping for a car for the last 3 to 4 months and I was planning to sign a contact with Barefoot GMC in Tappahannock, VA on the following Monday. I am very glad I stopped by your dealership. Even at 7pm when I arrived Dexter drove me and my wife around to see a few of your cars. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We picked out a car we were interested in and he took us inside to work up a price then took us to talk to Patrick Bryant to see about a trade-in on my car. Patrick Bryant was very honest and up front on what he could do to put us in the new car we wanted. Even though you guys were actually close Patrick kept helping and working with us and gave us a price that we were OK with. The price was a few dollars more then the other dealer, but because of the trust that Patrick built with me I bought the car and I am very, very happy and pleased that I did. Dexter also stayed after hours to tell me and show me everything I needed to know about the car. Patrick as a car salesman,is the best, most helpful, and caring that I have ever bought a car from. I am 67 years old and I have bought about 20 cars in my life and dealing with Patrick Bryant was a complete pleasure. I feel like we developed a lasting friendship and if I were to buy another car I would definitely drive back up to Manassas to see Patrick Bryant, and if he wasn't working at your dealership any longer I would find the one he was working for just and buy my car there. Dexter, was also a great help and a very nice guy he also went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and not rushed. We didn't leave in our new car till about 9:45pm, and never once felt pressured because you were closed. I am now and have been in the retailer business for 90% of my life mainly management and I would rate these two guys as top notch. I would hire either one tomorrow. The service was excellent and the sales people were very friendly and welcoming. Vince and Pat made the process easy and understandable. Our dealer was Gary Johnson and he was enormously friendly and easy to work with. We would recommend him again to anyone else interested in purchasing a used car for a great price. Since purchasing our vehicle the tires were making a weird noise. The service department could not identify the cause, but noted the sound and equipped our car with 4 new tires at no cost to us! Now that is some good customer service! More
