Help with a Lemon Dealership was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in diagnosing the many problems with the lemon I recently purchased. Identified issued that were n Dealership was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in diagnosing the many problems with the lemon I recently purchased. Identified issued that were not visible externally, but after conducting a throughout inspection of the lemon, they identified several issues that were not visible when purchased. Issues that would cost as much as I purchased the lemon for. The only issue that I do have with Koons, was I advised the sales department I wanted to purchase another H2, spoke with a sales individual who took my information and said he would start looking. After w eek of not hearing back I called, not once but three times, to speak with the sales rep and got his voice mail each time. They never followed up on my request, so I ended up searching the internet and purchased a vehicle out of Fredericksburg, VA More

I didn't have to mention that as everything was in my account and received my service for free as Buick offer 2 free service for the first year. My service agent was Tysons and he was excellent. His professionalism and excellent customer service made the entire experience quick and easy for me. Definitely an A++++++++++++++++++++ service. More

Efficient and Smooth.......but.. Uneventful is how I describe my experience in getting my Car serviced and it is the way I like it. I have purchased 2 Cars from Koons in Manassas in Uneventful is how I describe my experience in getting my Car serviced and it is the way I like it. I have purchased 2 Cars from Koons in Manassas in the past.... a Buick Lucerne and my current GMC Terrain. My purchase experiences were smooth and Koons worked with me on the deal. I have been fortunate to have had a history of stellar Service Advisors at Koons in Manassas and in continues today with my Service Advisor Jeff Miller. Jeff is professional and always greets me with a smile and takes the time to explain any issues that have been found by the Mechanic. The issue I have is about the product. I thought the GMC Terrain would be a nice vehicle because as I have aged it was important to me that I sit a little higher off the ground and that I could get in and out of the car with relative ease. That said, every time I come to a stop there is a rubbing sound coming from my Tires/brakes. It is absolutely annoying and anyone riding with me ask the question." is there something wrong with your Car". It is embarrassing and the only thing that I am told is that it is not a Safety issue. The Service Manager, Joe Carroll, in a test drive, heard the same thing that I heard, His answer to me was that GMC vehicles are like that and that it was a consequence of the area we live in and that he had two trucks himself that had the same issue. That is not a good enough answer for me. If in fact that is the case with GMC Vehicles, then the GMC Terrain is my Last GMC Vehicle. In the past I have owned a Pontiac 6000, Pontiac Bonneville, and a Buick Lucerne. I have never had sounds like this coming from my front tires/brakes. My wife's owns a Kia Sorrento, and I have friends with Jeeps, Ford Explorers, etc and no one has issues like this. So for me....it is the product. I like the Buick Enclave ,but now that I am retired the Enclave doesn't fit my budget. But I also wonder if the Enclave would have the same problem as my Terrain. Maybe a KIA is in my future... we shall see. More
Not an experience to brag about. I originally purchased a new pickup truck from Joyce Koons, however after driving the vehicle for almost a month my family realized that this truck wa I originally purchased a new pickup truck from Joyce Koons, however after driving the vehicle for almost a month my family realized that this truck was not a good fit. I brought this truck back to those I had just purchased it from weeks earlier, and I think it's important to mention that as I purchased the truck the dealership representatives are going on and on about how rare and valuable the truck was, then a few weeks later I bring the truck back and within the 3-4 week period apparently the market or the value of my new truck had apparently plummeted. How convenient. I understand sales and the process, I'm not even at all against someone making a profit, however this wasn't a matter of making a little money but rather ripping me off. I bought a truck for $60,000 and within 3-4 weeks it was now valued at less than $40,000. I was upset with the fact that Joyce Koons doesn't stand behind their own products or customers. I did raise my concerns to dealership, I spoke to the GM Angie Killinger and she was completely useless, she was rude and aggressive and confrontational, and of course they.claim to have done nothing wrong and somehow I was the problem. I would not recommend buying from this dealership, I did not have any serious issues with Cody other than he was dishonest about his recollection of the events once I complained and management looked into it. Basically it was me and my recollection of the events vs. all of the salesman and managers present and their recollection of the events. The Joyce Koons team circled the wagons and I was and still am on my own. My initial impression at Joyce Koons was of an upscale dealership and yet in the end it turned out to be the usual typical car buying process. Keep in mind that while dealing with these folks I had a conversation with the sales manager and I asked if they had ever heard of the adage "the. customer is always right",, the manager said that they don't believe in that philosophy there. I figure why take a chance buying a car here , there are many many other dealerships to choose from , why take the risk or gamble ,you may end up having a similar experience as I have. It's not worth the risk. More
