Engine light was on. 2020 Jetta with only 26,00 miles. They diagnosed the problem at a cost of $204 and said there was a leak in the purge valve and the cost to replace 2020 Jetta with only 26,00 miles. They diagnosed the problem at a cost of $204 and said there was a leak in the purge valve and the cost to replace would be $800 plus tax. Cost of part was $75. I asked if they would deduct the $204. from the $800. and they said no. I have bought 4 VW's from Joseph in the past. Besides my Jetta, my wife has a Tiguan, also bought at Joseph. My warranty expired 2 months prior to this. A purge valve should not go out at 26000 miles. They basically said tough luck, so I'll take my business somewhere else. I thought they cold have worked with me on this. I didn't want a free purge valve but almost $1100. for a car with 26000 miles and 2 months out of warranty. So to repeat, I'm done with Joseph. More

I have consistently been driving out of my way to get services at the Montgomery location since this is where I bought my car 11 years ago. My perception is that customer service has declined. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I've come in and asked about coupons, and the standard line is you'd have to look at your emails as the attendant was not current on coupons. This is the least that could be done for loyal customer to know about and honor available coupons/discounts. In addition, I was charged over $350 (2 hrs) for a mechanic to find a loose bolt that fell into my EOS convertible roof mechanism which prevented my roof from closing properly. This was what was estimated, so this was what was charged. Hard to believe it took this long and hrly rate seems quite high. I plan to start going to VW dealer a couple mins from my house going forward. More
