I also noticed that, since the door wasn’t apparently closed, my auto-lock feature was not activated. In doing some on-line research, I noticed that there was, to some extent, of a history of occurrences. See: Faulty Door Lock Actuator May Cause Power Door Locks to Activate Intermittently : Honda Accord Electrical and Lights (repairpal.com) I ordered the part from the dealership to have it replaced. I assumed, since it was a somewhat expensive part, as well as extensive labor involved, some sort of analysis would be performed to see if this part was truly necessary. I most definitely did not expect the dealership to blindly replace the part without any diagnosis simply relying on a customer’s judgement. The cost of the part and labor was $330.79. As it turned out, the error reoccurred. Afterwards, an adjustment of the door latch resolved the issue with an additional charge of $79.50. When I asked why this was not looked into before the part was replaced, I was told that I needed to request a diagnosis first. Shouldn’t a diagnosis be “due diligence” on the part of the service department experts? I assumed that a service organization such as theirs would do the same thing. Obviously, this does not equate to the same level as a patient diagnosis. Not having the doors auto lock could have caused unnecessary injury if an accident occurred. A simple observation /diagnosis by those in the service field, coupled with a simple repair, would have gone a long way to solidify my trust. The fact that a diagnosis was not part of the service mindset and I was therefore charged for a problem that didn’t exist, affirms that I will no longer seek to have any service performed by Jones Honda in Lancaster, PA. I had to pay over $100 to replace the plate through Brimmers. They refused to help me with anything financially and treated me like I was nuts. The sales dept was decent, the service dept is a joke, purchased a $40k Odyssey with miss matched tires, vehicle had 14k miles, Joe the service manager believes tires wear out in 14k miles, also had to br purchased a $40k Odyssey with miss matched tires, vehicle had 14k miles, Joe the service manager believes tires wear out in 14k miles, also had to bring vehicle back 2 times to fix a seat, even second time they handed us the car back and work was not done, I asked Joe the service manager how this happened, his response was, I don’t know, definitely wouldn’t take my car here, or buy another one from Jones Honda More
I would highly recommend you go else where when looking to buy a car. I am a young veteran who is disabled and lives on limited income. I trusted Jason Ness and Kyle Jones to steer me in the right directio to buy a car. I am a young veteran who is disabled and lives on limited income. I trusted Jason Ness and Kyle Jones to steer me in the right direction since It was my first time buying a car completely on my own. However after the fact, I have realized they both deceived me and left out critical information which has resulted in me paying additional money. During the signing process for the car, Kyle was having me quickly sign paperwork without fully detailing what each page contained. Kyle also used high pressure sales technique in order to convince me that I needed to buy the Vehicle Service Contract for $2600 that day or else I wouldn’t be able to get such protection in the future. A few days later, I realized that Kyle had snuck in an additional $1500 in optional add ones despite never asking me if I wanted such add ons. The add on’s were never mentioned on the flyer attached to the car, nor was it ever mentioned by Jason during my work with him. Apparently this business likes to use the opt out model than the opt in model of business when it homes to hidden charges. In total, Jones dealership added an additional 4K to the list price for unnecessary items. When I came in asking for the items to be refunded or to return the car. Brayan, the sales manager was hostile and rude to me after I mentioned being a veteran. I was told there was nothing the business could do and that they are unwilling to refund me cost of the add on’s or take the car back. More
Extremely pleased with the overall service we received from Mr. Tom Myers. His approach with us was always professional and personable without any type of pressure. I’d give zero stars if that was an option N. Also said God Bless at least as many times verbally and by text, assuming my preferences. And would not give line items of total price when asked (multiple times), worse yet charging far more I fees than PA law allows. Dishonest and disrespectful. Will do business elsewhere.Period. More
Extremely poor customer service in the finance department. I have leased a vehicle from Jones Honda and my end-of-lease date was coming up. I have received an email from the sales person to make a department. I have leased a vehicle from Jones Honda and my end-of-lease date was coming up. I have received an email from the sales person to make an appointment to discuss the options. My end-of-lease date was 6/30/2023. I made an appointment on March 27th to discuss the options and was told that I have until the end of June to make the decision. On June 17th I make an appointment to notify of my decision to keep the vehicle and finance it. I was told someone should contact me the following week. I finally receive a call on 6/21/2023 from Kyle Jones who gives me some quotes to finance the vehichle through the dealership. The Interest rates I was give were outrageous, considering my credit score is exceptional. So I told Kyle that I will go to my bank and get a quote...The interest rate I was given by my bank was much less, so I notified Kyle on 6/22/2023 that would be financing through my bank and I needed certain paperwork from the delership to send to my bank to finish the processing of the paperwork. I have never received the necessary paperwork. I finally email Kyle Jones on 6/26/2023 again requesting the paperwork for the bank, never received a reply. On 6/27/2023 John Fellenbaum emailed me sending the paperwork. Bank processed and released the check on 7/3/2023. I have emailed John that the bank has sent the check. I have not received any replies back. On 7/23/2023 I received a letter from Honda financial that my account was in default. I called them and was told that my account was overdue as they have never received my end-of-lease decision from the dealership. I emailed John stating that I have received this letter from Honda financial and that they should have received the check from the back and if there was anything else that needed to be done? He emailed me back stating that there is paperwork need to be completed and that I should come to the dealership as soon as possible. So they have received the check from my bank in the beginning of July and never contacted me to come to the dealership to finish paperwok until I contacted them regarding the letter I received from the Honda Financial. I come to the dealership and get told that my total lease-buy-out has increased by $274 because the lease has been extended automatically since the paperwork for buy-out wasn't completed by the maturity date, 6/30/2023! And $274 is the fee for extending the lease. None of those people (Kyle Jones or John Fellenbaum) had communicated to me that it was very important to get this paperwok processed prior to my end-of-lease date which was 6/30/2023. I also had been emailing Kyle Jones since 6/22/2023 to supply the necessary paperwork to me to send to my bank....which I have not recieved until 6/27/2023 from John Fellenbaum. So they dragged this process to squeeze some additional money! More

We came in with a car in mind but it had just sold. They quickly were able to show us something similar, but it just wasn't the right fit for us. We had Paul as our salesman- he was our guy!! Cannot recommend him enough. He was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and had our best interests at heart. Once the one car wasn't the right fit for us, Paul wasn't pushy at all and didn't want us to buy something that wasn't perfect for us. We left that night without a car, but Paul knew what we were looking for and kept an eye out for us which was a very big help. We came back around a week later to test drive another car. We ended up buying this one- Paul was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. He was helpful in answering all of our questions, showing us how to get all the features of the car set up, and helping us figure out our finances for the car. Overall, you want to buy a car here because it's a great company and you want Paul as your salesman because he's a great guy!! More
I came to jones for repairs because a couple of my dash lights came on over a week end So.. I did not have an appointment. They took me right in and worked on figuring out what the problems was and getting lights came on over a week end So.. I did not have an appointment. They took me right in and worked on figuring out what the problems was and getting it fixed. They are the BEST!!! I don’t know if any other dealership that would do that. They keep you informed of what’s going on and how much it will cost plus the look at the car as a whole to see what will need to be done to keep the car running good! I would recommend them to everyone.. More
