I brought my vehicle in to John's Ford for a sync 3 problem. I was asked to pay a diagnostic determine the actual problem. Jones Ford picks the problem. And charged me A $170. As it turns out My vehicl problem. I was asked to pay a diagnostic determine the actual problem. Jones Ford picks the problem. And charged me A $170. As it turns out My vehicle did an over-the-air update. And did not complete the update which was the problem. Ford is aware of this issue as it is happening to brand new vehicles as well. I would have preferred that they check for any updates that the system needed complete the updates and see if that fix the problem. I am very pleased that the conclusion was that my sync 3 radio was functioning properly as there was another gentleman in there for the same problem. More
I turned to Mr Jones in a situation, not related to the dealership, but a personal issue!!! This gentleman assisted me w/ my questions, knowing I was not purchasing a vehicle from him, w/o hesitation! For dealership, but a personal issue!!!
