Stopped in and met with a highly recommended sales person (Eric) who spent a lot of time with me on a test drive and a complete vehicle overview. The vehicle trim I was interested wasn’t in stock, however I was told that there was one at another dealership equipped like I wanted. I made an offer and manager Ryan accepted the offer. Ryan stated that he would like to contact the fleet manager at the other dealership to check on the status of the vehicle and to make sure that there were no additional dealer ad-ons. I was told I would receive a call the next day. Almost a week later, no phone call, email or nothing. I purchased my car purchase elsewhere and Jones Ford lost a sale on a $62,000 vehicle. Update: I spoke with Eric Morales (sales) today where he recognized the fact that the fleet managers dropped the communication ball, as well as Jones Ford for not keeping me aware of the delay. Having said that, I would like to add that communication is vital in any business and things do happen. I still believe that Jones Ford is a reputable car business and if you do happen to go there definitely seek out Eric Morales. I appreciated him reaching out to me and his explanation of how things happened. More
