Johnathan Motorcars was a better experience than either of them. Josh was a terrific salesman. I felt like I was dealing with family. They have a luxurious but comforatble facility, it feels high end all around. The prices are very competitive. I bought a 2018 Mercedes C300. They delivered it in perfect condition. I would buy my next car from them without hesitation. More

Car Mis-represented; doesn't walk their mission talk Most of their cars are somewhat late model. But they had a 1969 Mach 1 for sale and portrayed it as fully documented history. In many exchanges with Most of their cars are somewhat late model. But they had a 1969 Mach 1 for sale and portrayed it as fully documented history. In many exchanges with Jon (son's owner) he indicated the car was in excellent condition except for the paint. He was very clear the car would need to be repainted. I too was very clear that I would be sending a reputable and professional inspector (he'd be coming from 8 hours away). If that was all that was wrong with the car, I'd purchase and we agreed upon a price. Again, we covered the condition, straight frame, undercarriage (torque boxes, floor pans, etc.) were solid. Body was solid. No rust (small amounts of surface rust, especially on undercarriage would be acceptable to me). Jon was insistent, "definitely solid car and no rust....You will be very happy." Day of inspection comes and within minutes of it going up on the hoist, my inspector sees several problems. I have many pictures of these issues and posted them where I could. - Frame rail damage, 1 was split. Jon says the mechanic and didn't see it. It's right next to the leaf spring mount the mechanic installed! - Driver quarter panel / wheel well not repair correctly (appears to have been hit hard), rust on wheel well (not replaced) and on weld in butt joint. - trunk floor totally rusted. 2 to 3 holes through the sheet metal - trunk's drip rail, especially passenger side...rust - around the wheel on the quarter panel, especially driver side, ...rust - in driver door, quarter panel side...more rust There was more areas of rust as well as minor issues, but the bottom line is 3 of 4 major items were not close. "only needs paint" was a huge stretch on this car. BTW, the paperwork had original things like window sticker as described but had many gaps from the previous owner (the last 7 years) so that too was a bit off. But I still would have bought the car and not held this against them. If the major items checked out ok. The only positive thing I could say is they "seemed genuine" and the work done on the engine and suspension appeared to be of quality work. I spent a lot of money on an inspection (which saved me 40+ thousand), to find issues that were obvious via a decent inspection. More
