I made an appointment for Friday at 8am to service my advancetrac. I called at 1:30 on Friday for an update.They told me a tech was assigned to diagnose the problem and they would call me back shortly. I advancetrac. The service department didn’t even pick up the phone So I left a message with the receptionist, still no call. I called Saturday morning and the manager on duty had no clue about my car and said he didn’t have a tech available to look at my car and it would have to wait until Monday. So I called Monday and they diagnosed the problem. I asked if my car would be done by the end of the day. Of course not, because it needed a part that a huge dealership can’t get same day. So now I’m without my car for another day and both my wife and I need to got to work Tuesday. I asked if they could at least provide me with a vehicle. Their only suggestion was to pick up my vehicle and bring it back to be repaired another day. This is unacceptable. You should update your customers if you’re not going to work on their car. You shouldn’t accept online appointment if you don’t have the staff to do so. You should be able to get parts the same day. You’re a big shop. A smaller shop would probably have this done in after hours. You had my car 5 days!! I’m done! I had a previous problem with this dealership but I thought it was just the service writer but this must be standard operating procedure at Lucas. More
Have recently switched to this dealership after being underwhelmed with one closer to my home. Lucas has been batting 1.000 so far. Service for my GT350 has been outstanding. Absolutely the worst service experiences I've ever had. 8 Years worth, and never again. Hate to bash a local company but this is deserved. Check any of my reviews. I've owned Fords my entire life, and I support my local dealer. I'll start with the good. I bought a new car from them, and the salesperson Joe is awesome. The whole process was fair, simple, and quick. The bad. The service department is horrendous. Here are some of my trips there. Take Taurus SHO in for broken trans. They tell me its fine. I call Ford CS, take it back again. Oh, its not fine, the power transfer unit is shot. Now we'll fix it. Take Fusion for brake job, drive out of the parking lot and tools are falling out from under the car. Took Edge for a check engine light for an emissions error. They quoted me 2 hours labor. Parts + Labor $460. I looked it up on YouTube, bought the $27 part, only thing needed was a flathead screwdriver and plugged in two connectors. I'm not a mechanic and it took me 10 minutes labor. Tried to make an appointment for a car I bought 6 months earlier from them because the AC wasn't working. They told me there was a 1 month wait for an appointment. Take F150 for transmission issues 3 different times. They can't find an issue. I take them for a ride, they acknowledge the issue, and then tell me that its normal for your transmission in a truck with 29k miles to clunk. They also acknowledged that the truck shudders, but said its not bad enough to do anything about. Just read what they wrote in the image I posted. I spoke to Ford Corporate who called Lucas. Lucas Ford told Ford Corporate that I was forcing the issue to happen by getting on and off the gas, you know, like you have to do to drive any vehicle. I can't "force" the issue in my other Ford, so is that one broken? They also lied and said there are no TSBs for the issue. I've already spoken to another dealer and they said they see a TSB for the exact issue I have. They told me they will get the issue fixed and it sounds like Lucas Ford just doesn't want to do the work under warranty. So remember, according to Lucas Ford and their own written words, it is completely normal for your new Ford vehicle to have a clunky transmission. More

It is a disgrace the dealership took over 6 weeks to fix a check engine light. The dealership never once called me on how they were progressing.
