I asked for two items on the car to be corrected, and those were done quickly and without hassle. The transaction was easy...each aspect was explained thoroughly. All costs were explained and shown in writing. The car is in excellent shape and has been problem free. I have compared pricing before and since the purchase and am confident I received a favorable price for the car. Mr. DaCosta has followed up to make sure I was pleased with the purchase, and did everything he promised to earn my business. I was completely satisfied with my experience. More

I bought a Mercury Milan from Johnson AutoPlex. Thomas Henry was my salesman and he was very helpful and professional. I never felt pressured at anytime of my experience there. I was able to test drive the car as long as I wanted too. Most carlots that I had been to while I was looking would give you a set area to drive. I felt that I was given a fair price for the car and didn't have to haggle to much to get it. After price was settled, the process was quick and easy to get everyting done and me out of there. Sergio Escarcega was a great salesperson. I had been to several dealerships and they always require you to give information and then they HARASS you on ever form of communication given to get you to buy. several dealerships and they always require you to give information and then they HARASS you on ever form of communication given to get you to buy. When I got to the lot I saw him coming and I immediately thought here comes the pressure and harassment, but he just introduced himself and asked what I was looking for. I immediately told him that I wouldn't give him any info that I was tired of having to give info. He didn't pressure me about it just showed me a few cars in my price range, told me about the lot, and then gave me his card. Later on I went home and researched the car online that he showed me and saw a different price. So I sent in an offer via e-mail. The next day I got 3 calls within an hour by another staff member. I will not name him unless asked. He couldn't even pronounce the car name on my answering machine and then said whatever I'm not Japanese. On my answering machine!!!! So I never called him back. I came back to the dealership and looked for Sergio and we started my paperwork. Imagine my surprise when Sergio starts packing up his stuff and the manager comes in and says that the guy from my answering machine will be taking over, because he called me back from the internet and Sergio respected my request to not take any information. The other guy is just smiling knowing that he got an easy sale without having to do any work. I told them I wouldn't go through the sale without finishing with Sergio, and the manager only agreed to split it down the middle. I think that is unacceptable when the other guy had no response or actual contact with me. Then today I found out that after I left they gave the sale to the other guy after I left. I think that is just shady and unacceptable. The other guy should be ashamed of himself. He did nothing. Not even the paperwork. I feel terrible for Sergio and I wish there was something more I could have done. I recommend Sergio to anyone! Anyone! He didn't pressure me. He made sure I was comfortable, and when the manager was allowing this other salesman to take his sale without doing any work he was about to quietly and professionally bow out. More
Johnson Autoplex was a great place to deal with when trying to purchase a used car. I only had one slight problem at the dealership which I feel that I need to mention so that people are aware of what trying to purchase a used car. I saw one price on the internet on morning(which I printed down and took in with me) I also spoke that same night with a sales rep via the phone to confirm price on the internet, and he told me to come in the next day to take a test drive but when I arrived the price of the car had jumped about $400 more. The agent remembered speaking with me and went to see if the price could be honored. In comes the sales manager trying to convince us it was typo error because of his opposable thumbs and that he already had bids on the car as well as another person ready to pull the trigger on the same. He said had removed from the web witn in minutes of the error. Truthfully, it was a 8hr gap between my call and the sales rep whom confirmed the cars price and another 12hr gap from when my friend whom I emailed a link to see the car and they had also printed down the original price. To make a long story short he said he would give it to me for the internet price. I guess he thought we were deaf, because we overheard him when he told the finance manager to make up the difference up in finance charges. The price of the car wasa a great deal for the tpe of car being sold. I signed the papers knowing that I was going to refinance at a lower interest rate anyways with my credit union or capital one auto using their blank check program. Lo and behold; someone at Johnson Autoplex's audit department or the bank doing the initial financing must have been really honest. They refused to process the paperwork with the inflated fees and pricing. The very same person that tried to inflate the charges because he was told by a sales manager, called me about 2 weeks later said that they needed me to sign new paperwork because the numbers were off. I ended up saving $$1,511 additional on the final price of the car and over 2k in finance charges. I drove off again with an even bigger smile on my face singing "God is good all the time!" Overall I would most definately recommend this place when you purchase a used vehicle because for the most part the people are honest, the prices are outstanding and the quality is fantastic. You just really have to make sure that you "LISTEN to side conversations" being had between the workers and that you pay attention to everything being said and presented to you. More

But beyond that point, the company did seem to have some communication issues. At one point, when we waited 90 minutes to talk to the sales manager, my daughter said: I think they have forgotten us. They had. It was my daughter's first car buying experience. After her interaction with Johnson Autoplex employees, she said she hoped this car would last her a lifetime! A veteran car buyer, I would rate this business C+. True, there was no badgering but employees frequently contradicted each other. More
